After a fresh instalment of the pool story, Victor and Paige try to figure out how to balance the hotel hosting experience with the realities of resource usage. The solution seems like it's giving people more configurability in plans and more alerts when it is being pushed too hard. The first phase of this deploys on November 25, 2026.

If you shoot on the Lumix S9, this could be your new walkabout 50mm. It's the Viltrox AF 50mm F2 L. This full-frame lens is small, fast, shoots sharp wide open, and delivers lovely smooth bokeh. All for less than $200.

I'm reviewing this against the Lumix S 50mm F1.8, which costs a lot more and is quite a bit bigger, and against the cheaper TTArtisan 50mm Neo F1.8... Plus I'll have one more surprise option that you may not haven't even considered for your compact L-mount setup.

Let's see where this little Viltrox can win on value.

In this review of the Neewer LT-39 Travel Tripod the big surprise is just how good it stands up against the original Peak Design Travel Tripod. It borrows a lot of design inspiration from Peak Design but still comes in at budget price. Just $290 at the time of releasing this video. I take this tripod out in the field and share some detailed insights into what makes it worth the money.

Neewer were generous enough to send me this tripod for review. No money has changed hands and all opinions expressed in this video are mine alone.

Tilt-Shift lenses perform a little magic when shooting architecture. The SHIFT function in particular can transform a scene that a typical wide angle can't handle. In this video I walk through some practical applications when shooting architecture and accommodation, and take a close look at the TT Artisan 17mm TS F4 ASPH and why it fills this niche so well.

This lens has been released for mirrorless mounts including Sony, Nikon, Leica, Canon and Fuji GFX.
