Maybe we don't have cages to store people for inhumane reasons? Is that too much to ask for?

I mean you can ask for anything, the question is what can you actually get.

I don't think you have to ask for that one

And can i get a metaverse, a government sponsored drug that makes me dead inside, a blood born mind control meme virus that only infects computer programmers, a department of book burning, a truly ridiculous surveillance/censorship regime in the UK, and light bulbs that hate me?

Maybe a billionaire trying to live forever by literally stealing his son's body, a ring world over earth, or hologram girlfriend products that manage to be even more fake than the men they fawn over?

    With a side of soylent?

Edit: and if we could build an extremely racist bot, maybe some sort of mecha-hitler, put it in charge of some DOD stuff; either a space station where it can try to be god or the nuclear arsenal and maybe we make it do nothing but hate? Ill settle for a spooky castle, if i gotta, but...

Is this just a list of silver age sci fi premises?

    No, no; not at all.

Some are more or less recent, but more importantly most are things our billionaire class is trying for.

Oh, i could go for a side of mecha hitler, too. Split a side of mecha-hitler?

So you think if they committed a crime they get to be treated inhumanely?

  • Wait who's bringing crimes into this? No, you need ro keep the children in cages to have a society. I read it in a fiction book once so now i just have to uncritically do it, like the metaverse and a cultic mind control meme virus and a mirror in front of the sun and light bulbs that can hate you.

Do you just hate progress and art?

Jail is not cages without water and food. Look at the border cages under Trump and tell me they're the same as a jail in your town.
