I think, in this case, that’s what makes it a shitpost.

OOP asks a valid question, though. I don’t remember what Serbia did, either.

The actual answer is ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Kosovo, the former of which was the first post-WWII genocide legally recognised by the ICJ

Moreover, as the meme indicates, their citizenry continues to feel as though the intervention was unwarranted. at least in large part. No state-level population is a monolith.

I’ll be frank. Watching average people, noncombatants, children march toward pits to be executed leaves me less than sympathetic to you. I hope your world burns a millionth as much as mine did so that you can begin to comprehend how little I care about your nicked toe.

If you really were there, I'm terribly sorry. No civilians deserve any atrocities. There's no us or them, that's fkn stupid and you know it. I'm not even serb.

Why did the Soviet Union break up? Why did the Soviet Union collapse? An important reason is that the struggle in the ideological field is very fierce, the comprehensive denial of the history of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the denial of Lenin, the negation of Stalin, the historical nihilism, the ideological chaos, the Party organizations at all levels have almost no effect, the army is not under the leadership of the Party. Finally, the Soviet Communist Party's largest party was scattered, and the Soviet Union's largest socialist country fell apart.

Even ignoring the claim of a coup, please explain how you think the USSR collapsing in 1991 is responsible for the ethnic tensions in Yugoslavia that bubbled up years earlier

The USSR was just a Russian empire that pretended to be some international socialist brotherhood. Imperialism is married to the Russian identity and that didnt stop just because the Bolsheviks killed the royal family.

By the threat of killing you if you disagreed with the USSR's directives. Plus those satellite countries were meant to provide a buffer to the USSR if another world war was triggered. Better to fight a war in someone else's home rather than your own. A hard lesson learned from WW2.

Putin is pretty much trying to re-establish that buffer while pillaging his neighbors of their wealth. It doesn't seem to be working well for him.

They are competent when it comes to bombing serbs with depleted uranium when they did genocide. The (hillarious) justification is that they disrespected UN resolution

They seems to be very incompetent to do the same to israel despite 50 years of sitting on the UN.

Funny no? Really makes you think

I was making the remark that Fascists by design, have to portray their enemies as both powerful, and pathetic.

Russia is fascist, and declares "the west" to be both the great satan who threatens Russkiy Mir and their very existence for which they were forced to go to war, and simultaneously is full of weak decadent coward homeosexual liberals. its the fascist duality

I dont know if this is a serious question or a vieled whataboutism, but whatever the case, I do know one thing, Russia chose to start the war, and even more so, their mobsters used the excuse that their victims and enemies "made them do it"

Maybe if "the west" is so concerned about Putin they should stop buying him gaz.

But why would they do that? They get cheap energy, fund their enemies, and have a good excuse to oppress population into war economy. Win win really
