The White House and Department of Justice have reportedly been discussing potentially throwing journalists in jail to reveal the identities of leakers and fresh White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is behind the plan.

In an Atlantic report about the exit of Susie Wiles from her chief of staff role at the White House, it was revealed that a plan to jail journalists is in consideration in the administration. Wiles reportedly pushed back on such a plan while Miller gave it his endorsement.

According to the report, which cites multiple people familiar with the situation, Donald Trump has been pressing the DOJ to pursue criminal cases against people who leak information to the media on “national security grounds.” Various “tactics” have been discussed, including arresting journalists to push them into revealing their sources.

Lol...

The day they arrest the first journo trump will be impeached and convicted.

All those fucking sources are Republicans. And Dems only need like 5 Republican Senators to convict in the Senate. They'll get rid of trump to save themselves from trump in a heartbeat

Maybe he's doing it just to get JD on the big boy chair? That way he can try to start pivoting the party back to the middle before 2028.

Ok but he has the charisma of a soggy gym sock. I don’t personally understand Trump’s charisma but I can’t deny it exists.

I do t think the Make America a Soggy Gym Sock thing is going to get very far.

There's a video of Raskin and that eye-patch wearing traitor Crenshaw arguing, and when Raskin mentioned impeachment, Crenshaw rolled his eye, and scoffed that they'd need 60 votes, but then he got a sudden expression like he realized they only needed 5 votes to cross the aisle, and that shouldn't be too hard, especially when many are going to try to demonstrate their distance from Trump. Getting reelected in 2028 is going to rely on proving that you weren't fully behind Trump.

Imagine if the impeachment vote in the Senate was a tie, and JD Vance had to vote to break the tie?
