Today’s game is Uncharted 4. After playing 007 First Light, it left me with a desire to play this again. They play so similarly I feel like it was a given.

I’m enjoying coming back to this with the experience I’ve gained taking photography classes. I’m not going to pretend I’m some big shot master photographer. But I do think there’s been an increase in quality (though the main screenshot is a little too warm now that I’m looking at it). Honestly I’ve started judging games by their photo modes now because of this (Alan Wake 2 is my favorite).

Anyways, I love the themes of this one. It’s a lot more narrative heavy and dramatic I feel like than the older but I feel like it’s a really good way to close out Nathan’s story. I do miss the Supernatural Elements, but I do like the theme of Nathan not being able to leave the life.

As always I feel a need to point out how much I love this game’s water. It’s pretty and really got nice shape and form to it. And the movement is just perfect. Whoever designed it did a really damn good job because I always feel blown away by it.

Anyways. I made it as far as the auction this go around. I’m not gonna bother to collect all the collectibles but the last achievement I need is the speedrunning one. So maybe I’ll get lucky and nab that. I would have sunk more time into it but it took so long to download. I wish they had separated language packs and lost legacy as DLC or something to save on space because that’d would have been a big help. Maybe after this though I’ll finally go play Lost Legacy. I never got a chance to finish it.

It’s in the opening level. Where Nathan Drake walks around his attic and walks down memory lane and finds a toy gun and shoots targets. It basically serves as a tutorial.
