Pizza is stupid cheap to make at home. Domino's is currently offering Minecraft pizzas that are less than twice the size for more than twice the cost. But making it at home means no grease soaked collectable box.

Cost per person before toppings: $2.77 It is very hard to fit even a dollar worth of toppings on a pizza.

I've only had them at chain places and they aren't bad, I would even say good! And that's mass produced slop. I'm certain if I were to make it home it would be a hundred times better.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan, sadly. I much prefer thick, yeasty crust. Ideally, I'd like to do something like a Detroit-style or even a grandma pie sort of thing. I can probably get there with some combination of rice flour, xanthum gum, and some other stuff, but it's such a pain compared to flour, water, yeast, salt, and sugar.
