In the USA we have them mainly for independence day and not so much new years, so it's not cold. Idk I love them, I still think they should be banned because they trigger people and animals, but I enjoy watching them. If you're cold, get drunk, it's new years anyway.

In the UK our main fireworks night is 5 Nov - tonight.

It's Guy Fawkes night, or bonfire night, celebrating the time when a guy tried to blow up the House of Parliament centuries ago.

So it's not really anything like new years.

That's awesome! It's my wedding anniversary in honor of revolution, would be cool to see fireworks for my anniversary. Hope you have a good one!

As someone who used to sell fireworks, we use them for New Year's almost as much as we do for the fourth. The difference in sales is about 10-15% tops.
