The sorting set to Top Hour, Top Six Hours, Top Twelve Hours, Top Day, Top Week and Top Month include all sorts of results ranging from 19 days ago to 9 months ago. And nothing is sorted.

I tested this on my profile and random other profiles. These Sort types work seemingly correct on Communities, but not on Profiles.

I have noticed this before. The time range works on the user's posts, but not on comments.

And nothing is sorted.

It is sorted by score.

I see, its sorted indeed. But it makes no sense to sort by score, if I change the Sort type to Top Hour. This doesn't work like a Sort type, but more like a Limit type. I would expect it to sort by time.

It doesn't work on "Overview" or "Comments", only if I limit to "Posts". So yes, it works on posts, but only if no comments are involved by Overview. Clearly this is broken. I also noticed this since months and thought I didn't understood it, then forgot about it. Now that I wanted to find a specific reply from me, I encountered this issue again.

Yes, that's basically exactly how it works. It's supposed to show you “the top posts in the last hour”, so I think sorting by score does make sense here.

(In fact, the time range is actually being separated from the “top” sort type in lemmy 1.0.0, so it should be more intuitive then. There'll just be a “top” sort order, alongside a filter for post time.)

Yup. That part definitely looks like a bug.
