After Democrats’ historic victory, why is this how Hakeem Jeffries is responding?

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries isn’t interested in seeking impeachment charges against President Donald Trump.

Speaking on MS NOW’s Morning Joe Wednesday, Jeffries laid out his priorities for his party’s newfound leadership in the House of Representatives.

“The American people don’t want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive,” Jeffries said.

Republicans have had their traitorous asses kicked, and now I want to see all their Orange "initiatives" rolled-back, starting with the Big Ugly BIll but also defunding and/or dissolving ICE (and paying some kind of restitution to the people ICE has murdered, at minimum), terminating the Iran war, restoring ALL DOGE cuts, rolling back defense spending to at least Biden-era levels, abolishing all Trump tariffs, offering our sincere apologies to Canada and the EU and restoring our economic and political relations with them to Biden-era norms. That and much much more, there's so much shit to fix and Republicans should be made to suffer while those fixes are made. They fucked up the country and should feel the pain of restoring it like the traitors they are.

But Democratic leadership tiptoeing around like Quislings, kissing up to Republicans as if Dems are still afraid of them and don't want to make them mad because some people, the meanies at the top or fatbody traitor Republican LARPers in Kansas or some backwater might not like the new Dems in power? Too fucking bad, the whole lot of them had it coming and Democratic leadership needs get going doing the fixing and Republicans had better learn to like it. If Democratic leadership can't get the job done without checking first to make sure that the feeeeeeelings of Republicans and their leaders (which includes Orange Diaper Baby of course) won't be hurt then they can look forward to a short stay in power.
