You misunderstand the true narcissist. Trump didn't take a loss here. That is most literally impossible to his brain. He can't be wrong, so it was some other factor.

Only known one person with diagnosed NPD, my mom, and she wasn't 1/10th the narcissist Trump is. Nearly impossible for normal brains to wrap around.

NPD is so rarely diagnosed because people affected are disinclined to seek help for it, and covert narcissists are hard to spot

I've had one lie to my face and the person next to me about what they said to us less than a minute prior.

It's understandably difficult for people who haven't experienced it to understand or believe it.
