It would not take that much red cooperation to make overruling a veto be possible.

Theoretically, yes.

But I'm not optimistic that it will actually happen.

    Me either, although him being a lame duck that has been repudiated by voters countrywide might make Republicans hesitate to continue following him in lockstep. He's incredibly unpopular and will be gone in two years.

    I agree. If Trump just pretends to behave then nothing will happen.

    But he knows consequences are actually possible now which hopefully is enough to affect his behavior.
