This meme misses the whole point. This ain't about eating the rich. (though feel free if it looks good on your plate - I won't stop you)

Modern consumers will barely eat the crust off a piece of bread. Let alone just scrub a carrot or potato under running water and then eat the whole thing. You won't even eat odd looking fruit and vegetables either. Those just end up in that garbage. Nutritionists have been trying to tell to eat those peels for decades. There is more fiber, vitamins, and minerals in the peels than in the insides.

Eat more of that stuff BEFORE you need to go digging through the garbage/compost pile. Y'all are so wasteful it's beyond the pale.
