I still think they are good songs, just dont have that kind of time anymore to listen to music for the sake of listening (or riding bike an hour to/from my besties house in the middle of the night). Albeit some choices were clearly steered by the lack of access (pre youtube/personal internet access):

Falco (austrian singer), Black eyed peas

Then LANs started and i got access to "Die ร„rzte" (german punk rock) and a general mix of pop songs (banana song of gwen stefani?, la camisa negra, dont you pussy cat dolls) later Korn, ACDC, Bob Marley.

Of course there's some i tried to like but didnt like screamo and as a teen i never understood why ppl listen to techno (but do now). Plus i do now understand the appeal of songs that are easy to sing along when you're drunk with friends.

I guess unless you tried to force yourself to like something to belong to a group the choices are still valid. But taste changed.

But i do understand y'all. emo girls were the hottest so we tried to belong to some extent haha.
