Fairbanks doctoral student Eric Evans said he was frustrated the controversy was drawing attention away from more important issues, such as the war with Iran. He said he had yet to make a final decision on who to vote for in the race.

“I think it's really, really unfortunate that the state Supreme Court of Alaska ruled on this months ago, and that this is what we're talking about at this critical point in time, when, really, we should be talking about, how are we going to solve things?” he said.

It's really wild that a doctoral student concerned about the war on Iran would be undecided at this point.

Well that's a dumb response. You think just scientists in general are "the bad ones"?

Calls a comment dumb, doesn't understand from context that the comment is clearly referring to schools of philosophy.

What words did you use to come to the conclusion that his doctoral studies are in philosophy? The story doesn't even say Ph.D., let alone the word philosophy. Even if it did say Ph.D., that is just a title and rarely has anything to do with philosophy. Engineers, Physicists, Mathematicians, etc all get Ph.D. titles when they go for a doctorate.

I really still can't tell if you're stubbornly bad at making jokes or don't know what a doctor of philosophy is.

Yes, and as undecided voter (an idiot) he exclusively studied all the bad philosophy.

Everything explained enough for you or do I need to start explaining what all the individual words mean too?

This comment really sounds like you think doctors of philosophy study philosophy.

Goddamn you're stupid. It is also part of the joke that some doctors of philosophy have a doctorate in philosophy.

Maybe, if you're interested in being slightly less stupid than you were before, you might also consider the origin of the title, what the word "philosophy" used to entail, and how many levels of bad philosophy there might be for someone to be undecided about both the corrupt moral degeneracy and willful ignorance of the modern Republican party.

Dumb fucking bastard, you could have engaged with a one sentence joke on literally any level but you decided to vomit the paste out of your mouth instead in a moronic rage.
