The older the internet gets, the more it's like a city that keeps building on top of its own ruins. What's is your favorite bit of internet archeology if memes are like artifacts and relics?

So many references from the pre-youtube era occupy a permanent part of my brain.

I’m in my 40s and Homestar/TGS/Sbemail quotes are more of my vernacular than I even know. I’ll watch an old toon with my partner and they’ll be like “THAT’S WHY YOU SAY THAT IN THAT WAY?!”

I have to stop myself from making references, because it's so old that they don't land anymore.

"Wave of babies!" Might be the most dangerous vocal stim in my brain that doesn't seem that offensive on the surface because there's no curse words or slurs, yet I can't say it nearly as often as I want to because seriously...!

H*R has irreparably ruined my vocabulary. I'll often say "ooh, dere is two of dem!" whenever there are unexpectedly two of something, and "NOOOTHIIING!" when I check outside for a package and it's not there yet. Also "ARROW'd" as above.

I also often say "hellot" instead of "hello".
