My thoughts too. I like the idea in theory. But ~30 years on the internet gives me a pretty good idea of how that's going to turn out.

I'm afraid it might be hard to have open source reviews without some amount of the thing you mention. But at least they seem to be aware of the problem (first point in that link)

I would not mind if you can block folks. would be good to have a way to search users comments. can look for stuff that make blocking large numbers at a time easier. we may need that for here actually eventually.
