Ive hosted and contributed to a couple of federated platforms. Just little pull requests to help us all along.

The current list that I use is:

  • Mastodon
  • Peertube
  • Piefed
  • GotoSocial (kinda sorta same as mastodon)
  • And just today catodon.rocks

Ive also hosted:

  • pixelfed
  • lemmy
  • freindica
  • funkwhale

And a number I forgot about. snac looked interesting too.

Of all of them Gotosocial has been the most stable for single user instance, piefed fuels my addition, peertube got my dog lots of subscriptions, and mastodon remains a stable.

Im having an absolutely fantastic time.
