I’m not a prude and I curse a lot. Her cursing was too much for me and actually soiled the product. It was just annoying after a while.

To each their own. I tend to swear about the same amount so it never really hit me. I've definitely been asked to tone it down before lol

I mean it just killed the art for me. It was obnoxious and overused. Like okay we get it, you say fuck every 2 words. So edgy.

Not edgy, fuck you. People who curse a lot exist, and are the most up front all in your face honest people. They know their own worth and are sick of fucking dumb lazy jack asses acting like they contribute a god damn thing.

It was perfect and from the book. I've known a few women with mouths like that and they were some of the most honest and trustworthy people I've known.

Clearly, someone (thread OP) hasn't discovered that "vulgar" isn't anything more than a word to sell to the "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" poors in order to inspire them to behave.

I say fuck that shit. A lot. It's even healthy, for fucks' sake..✊🏼

I kinda like that but in my experience no one is more vulgar in far to many social settings than someone who has plenty of money.

Ironically, those "with" and/or "from" money tend to be distrusting of it, and project their internally ever-present fear of weakness outward onto the world.

Every time they puff up and get loud, they're just squashing their fears of being the inept, impotent, and unworthy cowards we already know them to be.

This is from the show The Expanse. I think this is around season 3. The character is a diplomat and she curses every 2 words.

Diplomat is kind of understating it though.

Minor spoilerShe is the scion of a political dynasty that is serving as "Under-Secretary-General" in the UN when we get to know her, so two steps away from the throne of Earth, having access to black ops and military assets, without ever having been elected.

Also towards your earlier point, I always took her brash attitude as intentionally annoying. Like that's the whole point of it, narratively. It's a tool she uses to unsettle others. Which is why it fits so nicely in the OP.
