Yeah honestly getting stuck in a time loop would be so good.

  • No worries about money or general future stuff.

  • As long as none of your loved ones happen to die that day, then you never have to worry about that again.

  • You can eat whatever you want because it'll just reset the next day anyway.

  • You can try anything with no consequences, EG: what if I just told this person to fuck off?

  • You have the entire archive of all of humanity's books, movies, video games, music etc. to keep yourself entertained. Plus you could presumably learn other languages over time and open up a lot more stuff.

I guess the downside would be that you couldn't do any long-term projects like writing a novel or really anything that takes more than a day, but the benefits would outweigh the drawbacks IMO. Especially if there was some way to escape eventually if you wanted to.

Video games, mostly. I'm never going to finish PSX JRPG masterpiece The Legend of Dragon in 24 hours I dont care how many days I get. I just can't grind that game the way I want and then loop back to the start like my 3rd party memory card corrupted again 😭

It would be torture for me... I am starting up a TTRPG campaign soon and I'm excited to play. Unless the loop is on a day I'm playing, it would just be stuck waiting to get it off the ground/continue, and I wouldn't be able to get people together on a different day, schedules are too rigid.

Your other points are good though, I could do a hell of a lot of reading, movies, and video games. I could probably spend years just with those.
