Mint runs like a scalded dog on my hand-me-down Dell laptop. Yes, the menus work. I'd bet it runs amazing on newer hardware.

It's one I picked up from one of my very country uncles when I was young. It just stuck.

It's marginally better than "runs like a raped ape", as another , more city uncle used to say. Thankfully this boomer ass gem did not stick in my speech patterns.
