People stop seeding? I kid, but seriously my torrents have never stopped seeding unless the original item was deleted, even past new machine builds. Some have being going for years at this point.

    Honestly I'm working my way towards my homelab setup to just symlink torrents because I've had to redownload episodes that got corrupted before.

    Well normally I just do a copy and clear out the torrent when it's got a good enough ratio. But since I found myself retorrenting episodes that got corrupted, I figure I can keep the torrent around and just use the download as the source of truth, so I don't have to dig around for it again
