I've found DLSS 5 can slash frame rates by up to 73% on an RTX 5080 gaming PC in NBA 2K27, and I'm wondering what kind of mega-rig would justify the performance hit (www.pcgamer.com)

Thought i saw a post this week or last from a nvidia insider whon said dlss5 is not for the consumer its for the developers so they pump out horribly optimized game code.

It does suck that the art of optimization has been largely lost. I dream of the performance we could have if developers took it seriously.
