If ever there was an example of how badly politicians need their advisors, she is it. Possibly the stupidest politician to have ever been given a relevant position in politics (and that's saying something given the current state of much of the worlds politics).

She can't take questions that go off script, and when she is talking, you can see the concentration on her face as she tries to remember what she was told to say.

The advisors have it right this time, but I can't even begin to visualise how many products would be missing from ever y sector of the market with sanctions on Israeli goods.

I just hope that they get it done, and fast.

Uh... not that many? Israel is a country of 10 million people; it's not exactly the world factory.

It sucks that Sodastream is an Isreali company, It has finally got me mostly off sugery sodas.

But now I don't really want to get new cartridges, even third party, as I don't want to support them even through licensing fees

You can grab an adapter for the large bar style canisters of CO2 for about 15 or 20 bucks online. Just hide the bottle under a counter or something and run the very thin line up to the unit. It works great.

The bonus is that the cost per bottle goes down to about a penny and you're not giving them a dime.

I don't, since I was made aware I only buy store brand refills

I still suspect that the third party cartridges require the manufacturer to pay a license fee to Sodastream

There are tons of soda stream alternatives now, even some that don't require Co2, (but they're probably a lot more expensive).

I've no idea what any of them are like though.

    Don't require Co2?

Isn't that the entire point of sodastream?

Yeah, no idea how they work. Coincidentally I only ever saw the first one last week on a promo via some German site. A quick search shows this list

I'm sure that there are many more. I also saw another list about the different methods of flavour infusion, not just syrups.. it caught my attention.

    Edit..

I checked the price on the top one when I first saw the list, and it said €59. After I posted the link here, I went back again, as they were cheaper than I thought they would be. Now it says €88.90.. 🤔
