Ashens reference?
I thought that was a typo, but no, her stage name is Nichelle, I have never seen/heard that name before, interesting!
Fair point lol!
You have nonidea which mic was being used.
It is quite possible that they have done a video before and went straight into a podcast studio
Eh, that is highly dependant on the specific mics involved.
There is nothing to "believe", it is documented fact that large microphones does tend to produce the clearest sound.
Your mistake is comparing TV, a visual audio medium, to podcasts, a mainly audio medium, and expecting the same needs.
This is wrong.
TV has to compromise the audio quallity with the visual aspect.
TV accepts getting 90% of the audio quallity as large mics would be too impractical, radio doesn't have the visual limitations, and they use large membrane mics, same with podcasts.
I currently use a shotgun mic at home, mounted on a microphone arm, my setup is a Röde VideoMic Go II and a pair of Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones, it is brilliant for normal gaming/discord, the mic acts an audio interface that my headphones connects to as well and it is out of my way. But while the audio is excellent for gaming and would be find for podcasting guest apearences, for anything more demanding I would probably get a large membrane mic.
I may be an IT guy, but I am also a hobby photographer who finds AV tech fascinating.
It is quite terrible for everyone, not just kids
Sorry but that is a crap title.
SSH will allow anyone into a Linux device as long as they can authenticate successfully.
I get that they mean that the vulnerability bypasses the authentication, but still a shit title.
Eh, I am probably just cranky as I just woke up.
Nah, I saw a documentary about when Obama took office and the logistics involved, the First Lady/Gentleman/Partner (trying to be inclusive here for possible future scenarios) works with the WH staff to pick out the new furniture and decor to be used for the incomming president.
Then during the presidential inauguation ceremony, the WH staff changes the furniture and decor as the old president attends the ceremony.
I hope they simply quietly ignore this proclamation and quickly takes down Trumps Tasteless Tacky Trash in a mislabeled box and sends it to the trash rather than the normal furniture and decor storage. Only to be discovered 20 years later when it can simply be remembered as a random fact of the "Tragic Trump Terms".
So when the next president comes in, it looks like it did before "Trumps Gold Rash" infected the building.
Yeah, we will, as an example of what not to do.
Nope, we should not execute Trump, while he absolutely deserve to die, and I'll already have plans to celebrate when he is dead, we should not do the killing.
There are several reasons for this:
- The state should never be in the business of killing it's own citizens, never no matter how terrible the person is.
- It would turn him into a martyr and give his people a powerful symbol to rally behind, this will still happen regardless of how he dies, but actively killing him would make it way, way worse.
- It would be too easy of a punishment, it is far harsher for a person to be put in a prison like ADX Florence, and have to live in complete isolation than just killing him.
