Why do you type up stuff you have no real knowledge about? What do you gain by making a comment that anyone with a clue can read and interact with while knowing the whole time you are typing it that you are pulling it out of your ass?

WHY!?

I just called my wife in from the other room into the bathroom where I was having a bath to ask her if the large pile of bubbles on my head was a nice hat and whether my bubble bikini made me look fat. For the glory of the empire!

Why do you support more public surveillance? I am asking this in good faith and will not even attempt to argue against your position. I just don't think I have ever seen a person outside of a scripted event say those words in that order and my curiosity is overpowering.

There is a book series with my name as the main character's first name and I really really dislike reading my first name... I actually run a find and replace on the epubs before I read anything in that series.

    Very cool!

We live in a tiny house in the forest so as you can imagine, we have a ton of birds around. We put a bunch of reflective/prismatic stickers on our windows and have not had a strike in a couple of years.

As a bonus when the sun shines through them they create cool shadows and rainbows all over.

Mods - I am not sure how to read the rule against game suggestions. If it means no asking for suggestions please just wipe the post. No harm, no foul.

Fall is usually my busiest time of year preparing for winter in our little forest home. But I have been given orders from the doctors to basically take bedrest for up to 3 months, but I'm allowed to be sitting up... So books and games are basically all that is on the menu.

I enjoy automation games, tower defense, survival/building games, and exploration games.

I dislike 'souls-like' experiences where combat is tight and requires perfect timing. In fact in most games where combat can be disabled I usually do that.

My top games of all time would be factorio, minecraft, WoW/FFXIV (yeah... i know. But they count as one), Dyson sphere program, vampire survivors (and many of that type), and gemcraft type TD games.

Some games that have been recommended and tried, but don't work for me right now or I have already finished:
mindustry, satisfactory, valheim, no man's sky, alchemy factory, luanti, terraria.

Thanks in advance for your time. Much appreciated.

I love Rex Krueger's videos, and I was thinking about his planing stop while cleaning up in the shop when i happened upon my collection of 'dull and/or burnt reciprocating tool blades that I won't throw away because who knows' and it occured to me that these are the same shape, and rough size as a screwdown planing stop, while conveniently fitting over a dog, or using the existing holes to screw it down.
