I'll just leave the question at that, because I can't even speculate.

I want there to be women's sports content on the threadiverse, so I put it there. I'm a bit "if you build it, they will come" about it.

I'm more on the fact that "it's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great!"

The hard is what makes it great!

Have you seen !sports@quokk.au ? It has a strong emphasis on women’s sports.

It's a better place than sharing WNBA with DonaldJMusk

Which is tough. I tend towards more fine-grained communities -- there are posts that belong in !reign_fc@lemmy.world that don't belong in !nwsl@lemmy.world , and posts that belong in !nwsl@lemmy.world that don't belong in !football@sopuli.xyz -- and I'd prefer to post in a women's basketball specific community rather than a general sports dumping ground. I've at various points considered setting up a women's basketball community, but then I get stuck shaving the yak of reorganizing all my communities and moving them off lemmy.world and choose inaction instead.
