For reference, the Japanese equivalent to the ice cream truck blasting music to attract kids is the roasted sweet potato truck singing "yaki imo" which literally means "roasted potato". https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0_IwZxOfdk&pp=ygUOWWFraSBpbW8gdHJ1Y2s%3D

    Roasted sweet potato . And it's a strangely haunting-sounding song. I always loved hearing it despite not liking sweet potatoes.
