I used to live in Texas. 40c days were fairly common. A bit warm, but not enough to stop us from enjoying the outdoors. Now I live in Wyoming and -20c is barely barely considered nippy. It's crazy what the human body can get accustomed to.

We had a 44C day last week in Australia. I enjoy summer, but I deemed that too hot to go outside unless necessary. Of course while letting the dogs out for a pee, I saw some guy returning from a run.
