My wife (and I) loves her Walther CCP. It's an easy rack, soft shooter even in the 9mm. She has tiny hands, and I have slightly larger than normal, and it fits both our hands perfectly. You can even get it in .380 for even less recoil.

My first was a Smith and Wesson EZ shield in 9mm, also an easy rack, but a bit more recoil.
