    /s?

He was raised Mormon in a full MAGA family, and nearly all photos show him surrounded with rifles.

He may have been confused, and I can buy he went libertarian, but if he was a leftist, I’ll eat my hat on camera.

e: oh no, it wasn’t /s, judging by your other comments. That’s just sad.

You seem to be projecting your ‘scream-cry’ onto me, when all I did was give you the statistics you asked for.

I’ll not hold your hand when you can’t click links and read, and I’ll not entertain your childish soliloquies.

Type another inane dissertation all you like – I didn’t sign up here to be an elementary school teacher.

    Sigh. My comment, my links.

Here, I’ll post it again, since you seem to be a bit in need of coffee or something:

    Yes, statistically.

Based on government and independent analyses, right-wing extremist violence has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of fatalities, amounting to approximately 75% to 80% of U.S. domestic terrorism deaths since 2001.

Want to claim the government and independent studies are fake again?

Because I spent the time to give you actual information and you’ve ignored it. I had enough respect to at least notice who I was talking to – I’m sorry you didn’t have the same courtesy. I didn’t even downvote you, though you’ve downvoted me.

Why should I respect your time and comments when you’ve proven you don’t respect mine?

eta: and where did I claim your source wasn’t from the BBC? I said it was irrelevant and wasn’t the link we were talking about at the time. You’re clearly not listening at all.

In fact, I’ve wasted too much time with you already. Don’t bother replying. Or if you do, enjoy shouting into the void.

I do! I could easily get the guy to realize that he does not understand what he is talking about and what he is denying!

Lets compare that to here! Here I was called a maga right winger, an american, a troll and crazy for calling the killer leftist with the info with which I arrived to that conclusion! I have asked multiple times why anyone thinks he is right winger and despite the hundreds of down votes no one answered….

    What?

You asked for statistics, and here are the statistics.

And spiking a flat-earther isn’t the flex you think it is. I could probably spike a 2nd grader, but I wouldn’t brag about doing it.

Statistics don't give any evidence about the ideology of any particular shooting. The statistics say that around 20% are done by people on the left.

That's nowhere near close enough to confidently state Robinson wasn't on the left.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on lemmy, you are apparently fairly recently starting HRT yourself, or considering it, and are concerned about a potential crackdown on transfolk in Hungary.

    https://lemmy.world/post/25665488

From which side of the political spectrum do you think that would come from?

    The... left, apparently?

    Obvious troll is obvious.

Either that, or you bounced off the idea of transitioning so hard that you became either a complete idiot, or basically a fascist.

It can be difficult to tell the difference between those two.

Not impossible I guess, but certainly does make you seem incredibly unstable.

    No, you're not listening.

    I am not a group.

    I am a person.

I am trying to talk to you, another person.

    Are you still transitioning?

    Did you ever start?

Its very odd that a seemingly at least trans-interested person would be... so diametrically opposed to realizing that it is cultural traditionalists, economic right wingers... everywhere, very much tend to be the people that do hate crimes against trans people, that publically state that trans people more or less should not be allowed to exist or should be treated as outcast freaks.

    So, what happened?

In February, you yourself were going to transition, were looking into it.

Now, about half a year later, you are entirely aligned with basically the extreme opposite of that idea.

Also, I never claimed you are American, you mention Hungary in that post of yours I linked... so I would assume if anything you are Hungarian.

I think you are a rightwinger because you keep denying that rightwingers in the US are vastly more like to commit terroristic actions than any other political group.

This is just a fact, been this way for decades, there have been many studies on this.

Also I didn't even see you say Charlie Kirk is a left winger... uh... thats insane, as literally 48 hrs ago, a Nuremberg style fascist rally was held in the US, 'honoring' his death.

He was widely beloved by right wingers in the US.

You seem to be currently having a psychotic break to me... maybe just... log off the 'net and uh, try to do some deep breathing excercises.

I am not disbelieving any studies; it is not relevant stat! By the same arm length why don’t you think that black people did this crime? They are more likely to according to statistics! It was very incoherent when that @lilysomething attempted to throw shade at with this, I am glad you are a person who actually read my reply in which I said so already…

…we are talkimg about Tyler Robinson? I actually took a minute and not me nor anyone else mistakenly wrote Charlie… But I am the issue sure

I haven't seen any hard evidence he was a full-on leftist, but I haven't seen any hard evidence he was maga either.

From what I've seen, he was definitely left of his parents, but there's a whole lot of different ideologies to the left of maga.

I think the only way we'll know for sure his ideology is if he says so.

There's a thing called "Poe's Law" that states "without a clear indicator of the author's intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views."

So your "joke" relies on the idea that zero rightwing nutjobs will read it as encouragement. Which is just highly unlikely.

It's very difficult to joke about extremism online because there'll almost always be extremists who take it as encouragement. To them, you're indistinguishable from any other MAGA supporter.

Its not a joke, on the information available to us I am led to believe that he was a leftist!

What they have in the Us, in terms of political ideologies, cannot be considered leftism by an stretch of the word! Alas, I would have no insecurities if one of my tribesmen were to do something I disagree with

"All information available" is apparently one BBC article that you keep posting over and over, while calling numerous articles and studies on the ideology of most domestic terrorists "made up," and the conclusions you draw from your one single source an "assumption." Gosh that's some irrefutable evidence you've got there chief. 🙄

The bbc is now right wing fake news…

    • “Robinson's mother said her son had started to lean more to the left, Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray told a news conference on Tuesday, "becoming more pro-gay and trans-rights orientated"”

+2 Proud republican behavior: “Public records reviewed by the BBC suggest Robinson had in the past registered as an unaffiliated, or nonpartisan, voter in Utah. His parents, Matthew Carl Robinson and Amber Denise Robinson, are registered Republicans, according to state records”

+3 Common republican things “Authorities have said the unnamed roommate was a "biological male" who was transitioning from man to woman and was in a romantic relationship with the defendant.”

‘More to the left’ of MAGA is not ‘leftist’, ffs. That whole family is deep MAGA, so more to the left isn’t even necessary centrist. Libertarian, maybe, or still far right, but thinks LGBTQ people might be people.

Are you even paying attention? Do you think trans people, women, and immigrants deserve rights? Answer honestly.

You said ‘leftist’, and you made claims about that based on what his grandmother said.

I said coming from a MAGA family, ‘drifting left’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘leftist’. Compared to MAGA, ‘moving left’ can mean anything from libertarian to centrist. That’s not a claim, it’s calling you on your claim.

We don’t yet know anything about him other than his family is MAGA and Mormon, so let’s not speculate what his beliefs are, eh?
