We did evolve from a common ancestor idk what you are on about. You were not intelligently designed in god's image, but evolved from monkeys. Chimps being perhaps the closest relative surviving.

    We evolved from a common anscestor to monkeys and great apes (a class in which we belong). We are not, and did not, evolve from monkeys.

    Not like them condescending fools that say we come from monkeys, that ain't my heritage! Is that your heritage?

    But people are primates that evolved from primates, whether monkey is misused in terminology referring to all primates or nor.
