Dunking on Liberals from a leftist, anti-capitalist perspective.

This community has moved to !libjerk@anarchist.nexus.

Dems keep working with trump to approve his picks, but what they won't accept is that if you sit down at a table with nazis, the only thing that's changed is the number of nazis at the table. @_cryptagion@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules:

No bigotry of any kind (except towards liberalism).
No liberals (unless you are a masochist and enjoy the abuse).
Strictly no downvoting (downvoters may be community banned, 4 the lulz).
Bernie Sanders is still a liberal.
This is a genAI friendly instance, so no complaining about genAI content.

We allow posts about liberal behavior even off fedi, shitposts, and rational, leftist discussion.

Did you go to the primary?

Yes.

No its to your lack of pragmatism

I vote for progressives in the primary, even though the genocide happy wing of the party, your genocide happy wing of the party, makes sure that the primaries are kabuki where we don't get a choice. I voted for harris in the general.

you are privileged enough to not care

You care a great deal. You just want the genocide to continue and you got your only fucking wish.

Good and we need more people to join us

You just want the genocide to continue and you got your only fucking wish.

Feel free to quote where I've said so

You saw people objecting to genocide and decided to defend one of its supporters. A genocide supporter who is no longer running. She is no longer politically relevant, but the genocide still is. We need a candidate who doesn't support genocide. We needed such a candidate in 2024.

But since centrist democrats didn't want such a candidate, we weren't given an opportunity to vote for one, either in the primaries or in the general. Congratulations on your win. You got what you wanted in the primaries, and you got what you were ok with in the general. Now lecture people who are suffering about how privileged they are to have two parties that consider them expendable.
