Thanks, I'm able to see that aesthetic.leminal.space comm in my feed too now after doing this x-post. I wonder if things stop showing after a certain amount of inactivity over time

I can see it here
If you are asking about the artiste: LukHash | Bandcamp.com
About the artwork, it's from the art cover of the album Home Arcade, I have recreated a potion of the album cover in lower resolution and using the canvas palette.
I wondered who this was
Canvas has started! Template is here: https://canvas.fediverse.events/#tu=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.catbox.moe%2Fi50c3p.png&tw=111&tx=390&ty=100&ts=ONE_TO_ONE&x=445.5&y=155.5&zoom=1
Nice! Good strategy :)
It does look kinda big; might be worth trying to prioritize the "important" bits (probably the top half?) so we at least get part of it finished. Looking forward to helping out again!
Lukhash is great.
Nice! Thanks for the tip. DwtD is one of my favourites.
ETA: oh wow, the artwork is sick... reminds me of Iron Maiden's Eddie

From the video description:
"This music video was produced using traditional methods, with real actors and several days of filming at LAMY Studios, supported by TRIMARAN VFX, which provided over 20,000 hours of rendering. The elements of the universe, imagined by Seth Ickerman, were modeled and animated in 3D using classic techniques, as part of a project that spanned more than a year and a half.
Although artificial intelligence now plays an increasingly important role in many productions, its use in this project remained limited, mainly to automate certain repetitive technical tasks or make minor adjustments to details. Even in these specific cases, the AI was systematically reworked so as never to compromise the overall artistic coherence. Contrary to popular belief, its contribution here remains very limited and marginal in relation to the project as a whole." Seth Ickerman.
I agree with you the art-direction of this video is a sensory overload. I think this was a conscious choice of the director.
Nasty assault to the senses, and enough AI slop to be annoying. It's a shame, really.
Yeah... I was rockin' out to Roller Mobster earlier... my how the mighty have enshittified...
I love Perturbator throwing shade saying that tye key to art is the human factor.
I was mildly excited until the first music video dropped, and had AI bullshit in it. Really soured the music for me.
Then the next ones dropped and were ALSO using AI bullshit too (by Seth Ickerman no less) and it really knocked any excitement I had left out of me. I was going to see Carpenter Brut live too, but I think I'm selling my ticket shortly.
Sweet. Love me that turbo killer video so much, looking forward to some fresh stuff.
i will check them out!
Huh, no idea what's going on there. I'm not a Fediverse expert, I just took over the Jungle comm when the previous mod was looking for someone to take over.
I've been super busy and haven't posted much lately, I'm generally the only one posting there though there have been a few new contributors recently. This coming weekend will be my first free time for a while so I'll try and catch up on adding some Jungle. Feel free to get involved :]
No problem. So weird though. I was posting because I thought it was an empty and neglected comm. Thought this one was too. 🤦♀️ Interstellar app has been acting funny so I've been using web today. I only see everything when viewing directly on lemmy.world, otherwise I only see my own posts. Maybe something wrong with PieFed federation or my instance?
Thanks for your recent posts to the Jungle comm btw, nice to have someone else contributing :]
Hard to believe how old it is, but it's standing up to the test of time very well. Btw, Fever Ray has a new album, The Year Of The Radical Romantics.
One of my favourite electronic tracks ever. The whole album is a masterpiece.
Nice, thanks for sharing!
Incredible music video, wow
I also opened a Matrix chat room: synth-canvas2025@matrix.org
I've setup the template: Carpenter Brut logo, x=235, y=50 | canvas.dedivers.events
