@repeatro the deal confuses me. because if a console exclusive was limited to the Saturn, why was there a PlayStation 1 version around that same time? Was it region specific maybe? I'm not doubting the information, just confused about the workings.

It's going to be a pain to replace these caps though. I think I'll need to remove the filter coil to reach the 47uF caps properly. I may also need to remove the RF modulator, not only to reach the caps but in case there's leakage under it.The audio caps too are very close to the keyboard connector, even more than on the A1200 by the look of it, so I'll almost certainly remove that connector when I do those. (I can see why the ReAmiga 600 has a leaded cap option for these!)

In general, the A600 capacitors look to be stable and not obviously leaking - except for these two.The 47uF caps on the 12V and -12V input lines have dull joints, just about visible in this photo (and contrasting with the other caps nearby). Dust is also accruing around it, which is often a tell-tale sign of leakage, though it's uncertain here as dust is also collected on the higher plastic ledge.Nonetheless, I think these need replacing and I've ordered a full set for the board.

...in the series to feature an open world called Bayview, which itself is based on the U.S. cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles. 🌆The game sold around 11 million copies and is widely regarded as one of the best games of the series due to the quality of the gameplay, the length, the endless customization, the interesting side-missions, the graphics, and the addition of open-world free roam. 🚗🧵2/2#RetroTrivia #retrogaming #gaming #games #videogames #cars #auto
We discover a manhole (conveniently opened with the crowbar) that leads down to another level of basement or maybe sewers. It leads to a cave with an ominous slab. I bet this is an altar for sacrifices. Isn’t it?

And now the forklift comes into play. This puzzle is actually very straightforward and logical. But the fact we have to move the pallets four or five times is a bit excessive…

And what do you know! The flashlight opens up a couple of before unknown rooms!

It took us the #invisiclues to look into the access panel! It was so obvious.#lurkinghorror #interactivefiction

It’s not “done” yet, I’m not happy with a few of the ports - the Amstrad version especially makes me sad. But I’m going to concentrate more on my new games Quantum Hop and Dundeck. I’m thinking for a bit of continuity the spaceman in QH is going to be Jurl Hogrind
@CentipedeFarrier Mmmh, there must be something very special about this game the other titles of the series miss. 🤔
I’ve never played a hockey game other than this one, nor in fact any other sports game, and I played this one an absolute ton.
@LordMayor You are the second one mentioning this today here. There seems to be something special about this title of EA's NHL series.
This got more play on my Sega Genesis than any other game. I don’t think I ever played another hockey game after it.
We also tried waiting and maiming the man with our other tools. But it invariably ended fatally.
We did figure out how to stop the waxing machine, but we needed the Invisiclues to figure out that we need the wax to stop the maintenance man. We did temporarily disable him with the stone we acquired during the nightmare... But it did not work permanently. We will keep that in mind!

We managed to get off of the dome by using the ladder on the catwalk. It was a bit finicky to figure out the correct phrasing, but we managed it.

Meanwhile we managed to get to the top of the great dome. And there is a tentacle monster! Luckily it runs away.

And just like that we lose consciousness and end up in a nightmare. Again, the setting and writing are great.

Anyway: our term paper seems screwed up and has transformed into an occult translation.

I love this game
YAK editor. I love it. This is from 1987!#gnu #emacs

If I get this decently fixed I’m considering sticking Bazzite on it for a very underpowered steamdeck
The other sticky point is that I managed to drop one of the shoulder button springs on the floor, where it instantly enter workshop hyperspace - so I’ll also need to work that out
