The Quantum Playground is a set of small Quantum circuit I'm developping to help me better understanding Quantum processing.

Last month, I have published an article in which I tried to understand the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm.

Now, here is a small interactive circuit where you can see the Oracle corresponding to a given secret key and the final quantum state of BV circuit.

I got back to quantum computing during this summer and spent time understanding the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm. I wanted to have a better feeling of what's going on instead of focusing only on equations. Here is the result of my investigations.

I'm also working on an interactive page on BV circuit on my Quantum Playground but I still have some issues. Maybe for next month.

What is an observer?

We have long assumed that “an observer observes the world.”

But what if—

observation itself is not something we do, but something that only appears when certain conditions are met?

Two independent systems align only at specific moments.

Yet this alignment cannot be explained by causality, correlation, or measurement.

So who is observing?

Or rather—

does the observer emerge only when observation becomes possible?

What do you think about this perspective?

I've created a nice quantum computing cheat sheet. It's not just a patchwork of stuff I've googled. It's a synthesis of everything I've understood in the last few month.

There are things I had to get by myself because no one clearly mentioned it. Like the fact that Wikipedia pages on Quantum Gates use "1st qubit leftmost" convention whereas Qiskit use "1st qubit rightmost".

Anyway, here it is: https://kissyagni.com/TheQuantumComputingCheatSheet.pdf

Use it, Share it, and even Correct it 😊

Any time you use a device to communicate information—an email, a text message, any data transfer—the information in that transmission crosses the open internet, where it could be intercepted. Such communications are also reliant on internet connectivity, often including wireless signal on either or both ends of a transmission.

But what if two—or 10, or 100, or 1,000—entities could be connected in such a way that they could communicate information without any of those security or connectivity concerns?

I'm currently playing with qiskit, the IBM Python library for quantum computing. I don't know if it is good or bad; I just took the first one I found.

The Deutsch algorithm (kissyagni.com)

I finally understood the Deutsch Algorithm.

All the articles I found dealt with the equations too quickly, and my math is a little rusty. Also, I never studied tensor spaces in school, so handling tensor products is far from natural.

I detailed every single steps here: https://kissyagni.com/the-deutsch-algorithm.html

There are probably more compact method to explain the algorithm, but this the one that worked for me.

I'm continuing digging into quantum computing with some Quantum gates acting on a single QBit. Next one will be on multiple Qbit gates.

Representing Bloch sphere with sketches is a bit challenging. I'll try to find a better way to do this.

Just started my journey into quantum computing. I hope this would help beginners to understand what the hell is this thing 😊
