Please don't take me wrong, I do know that the 'staff' is probably a one-man staff who's already too busy setting up and maintaining the entire Perchance universe, and I can only be grateful for that. But enforcing such an over-strict flagging system that moreover doesn't give the faintest hint at what's wrong with the site probaby wasn't the best move, considering the lack of human resources.

I currently have one PG-13 stories site flagged as mature, and there's an extensive explanation why I feel the flag is unjust; and then I have a NSFW stories site completely blocked for reasons I do not know, and I've asked on the forum to unblock, to no avail.

It's sad, because I love the Perchance community, and I'm grateful for the powerful framework Perchance offers us for free, and I wanted to give something in return. I'm good at writing stories, and just wanted to offer them to the community, because I'm not the kind of person who feels comfortable at taking and taking without ever giving back anything.

Thank you anyway to the Perchance staff for the effort, the energy and the resources they put in this project. I truly appreciate it.

My profile was flagged as a privacy warning though there is no actual personal information given or requested. And no mention of any AI helper other than in the warning.

Hi, my generator (rwczus7xee - Dino Runner) is a Chrome dino runner game with a public leaderboard and live chat. It got an automatic Privacy warning. There's no sensitive data involved: only player-chosen nicknames, game scores and chat messages (all meant to be public), plus IP/device used solely to bind nicknames to their owners (anti-theft) and count unique visits. I've added visible privacy notes in the app itself (in 5 languages) explaining exactly this to visitors. I requested priority review twice but got "nothing has changed". Could someone please take a look? Thanks!

Can't save generators + preview freezes — Cloudflare challenges firing

Hi, I'm having platform-wide trouble in the editor, not tied to any single generator:

Saving generators often fails (looks Cloudflare-related). The live preview tab frequently freezes ("page stopped responding") — only a full tab reload recovers it. This happens just from using generators, even without heavy edits. Evidence: responses fetched during normal use come back with a Cloudflare challenge-platform script appended in transit (window.__CF$cv$params, /cdn-cgi/challenge-platform/scripts/jsd/main.js?ray=..., ray ID changes on every request). The content itself is byte-identical otherwise, so it looks like aggressive bot-checking on legitimate traffic.

Repro: open any generator in the editor, use it for a while (preview reloads), try to save — it fails; the preview locks up.

My setup: Chrome 109.0 (Win64, Windows 10). Started around early Nov 2026, several times a day.

Subject: Takedown request — unlicensed ad-stripped fork allgrabber-clean of my generator allgrabber

I am the owner (saving account) of https://perchance.org/allgrabber (AllGrabber, 330 saves). I request removal of Unlicensed Copies: 1. https://perchance.org/allgrabber-clean, an unauthorized fork that strips my ads/earning code and falsely labels itself "(original author)". I did not authorize it, and it is draining my users and ad earnings. 2. Second unlicensed copy: https://perchance.org/hz2gvks7t8. It republishes my allgrabber code under my brand with my Monetag verification tag, strips my license/owner/safety files, and diverts platform votes to itself via a "Vote for AllGrabber" button wired to its own page. It is an outdated V8 snapshot competing with my maintained original. I did not authorize it — please remove it; I can verify ownership from the saving account. Verifiable evidence in the current public source:

The fork confesses in its own main.pjs: "AllGrabber Clean: a cleaned copy of perchance.org/allgrabber (original author). Ads, sponsor pop-ups, ad counting… removed… No ads, no sponsor pop-ups, no trackers." Its embedded manifest (index.html) lists as removed: "every ad unit and ad script (ad-network iframes, ad shell/layer/verify/guard/witness/spoof, sponsor pop on the save buttons)". My original carries the ads; the fork has zero: my index.html has the Monetag verification tag-ad-network allowlists, earning modules The fork contains not one ad-network reference and drops all of them (91 src files → 24). My license forbids exactly this: src/LICENSE.txt in allgrabber prohibits republishing with "ads, sponsor handling, safety notices, or authorship removed or relabelled" and names allgrabber-clean as unofficial and unsupported. Harm is ongoing: users are migrating to the "no ads" copy and my earnings have dropped substantially. I can verify ownership from the saving account on request. Please remove the fork.

Recently, some users of my generator have been reporting that they got error 1006. After some testing, it seems to happen when they try to connect to server-plugin. Affected users also can't access server-plugin in other generators.

Wondering what's the cause, and whether it is intended behavior or a bug.

This is a mistake and does not include malicious content and won't log data publicly. Everyone, ignore the warning and investigate the generator. Please fork the generator and remove unsafe features. Perchance moderation should also remove the warning.

Active now trakers, comunity views, and nsfw are all now optional and you choose before fully entering the site theres also a privacy notice.

The "Listed/Unlisted" switch should mirror the actual state of the generator, i.e. if it's actually listed on the generators directory or not. Currently, it only states the intention of the creator, who must go and check manually the directory at each modification of the site.

Previously, the old links "Make public / Make private" gave an almost instant feedback, alerting the creator that there was something wrong with his site. Now the feedback is gone; and a "Listed" switch for an unlisted site is misleading...

Images have been disappearing from my public gallery at an alarming rate. Confirmed that most are just delisted and not deleted. They range from vanilla SFW image to NSFW images. Please help. @perchance@lemmy.world

Since Oct 31, images have been silently disappearing from gallery feeds while their CDN files stay online. My on-device audit log (double-confirmed missing across two independent healthy feed reads, older images below still listed — so not roll-off):

126 listings gone, across 26 users, first detected Oct 31 2:19 AM, still going (~2/min) 106 files verified still online, 3 files actually 404, 17 unchecked Proven global, not targeted: the flagship ai-text-to-image-generator lost 15 listings in 4 minutes, including its #1 and #2 newest images — traffic roll-off can't remove the top of a newest-first feed Bug report filed with full evidence trail: 7768187f The files were never deleted, so restoration should be possible. Can listings be restored, and is this the moderation system or the gallery server?^___^

Hey everyone! I used perchance for some personal projects for a few years, I took a break around late last year. I recently returned however, I, for some reason, can't find the AI that generated the images that I was used to seeing. I put all the same presets and mixes (I even kept all my old prompts), and I can't seem to generate the exact same images. I know the AIs can change on a whim, but I was wondering if someone removed the AI or they changed the name. I attached an image; I was getting stuff like that casually, now I can't seem to get it at all anymore. Think anyone can help? Thank you.

To add more context. When I would get this, I would simply use the regular "anime" option mixed with nothing else.

I'm working on a generator both using ai agent and downloading source files to my pc to edit them personally. When I upload the changes I made locally, I had many sync problems. I got that the correct flow is: update files in files / src tab save (this is bad because maybe I'd like the agent to check them before go live) ask the agent to re-read all files I changed.

Following this steps I had fewer problems, but from time to times this happens to me: The ai agent doesn respond (it just outputs in yellow: error: draft workspace is read-only; reload or upgrade your browser — your message is saved for retry) Also se the image I attached.

From there the only way I found to keep working is deleting every perchance data from by browser.

Is there a way to prevent this or to fix it in an easier way?

Ok, I'm completely new to all of this. My question is a basic one and I'm sure I will get a lot of flack for this question. Once I have created my code, what do I do with it, to make it a workable product for personal use? I thought you just plug it into an .html document, but don't understand it all that well.

The generator at https://perchance.org/allgrabber-clean is a copy of my work published without my permission. Its own description admits it is "a cleaned copy of AllGrabber (perchance.org/allgrabber)".

It republishes my code with ads, sponsor handling, and safety notices stripped out, which removes my revenue and misrepresents the app while free-riding on my work. I have the ownership evidence. if needed. tell me where to send?

Please Remove those. And Build some Mechanism and rules and prevention for future use. So this kind of thing will not happen again.

There's a page called gen template, full of rich templates.

And when creating a new gen, we are brought to an empty gen called minimal.

But, isn't editor like Office place minimal amongst the other templates? Just that it's the 1st choice.

Builder question + suggestion. My generator got flagged as mature. I then deleted the entire adult block — all porn domains, adult queries, uncensored link cards — and verified with a full-text search that zero matches remain in the shipped code (main.pjs, index.html, src/). Saved, re-requested review, still failed, with no detail on what the trigger is.

The generator in question, so anyone can check: https://perchance.org/zunzum?c=kkk-perchance — anonymous Orkut-nostalgia social network, no email. If you spot anything in it that could still be tripping the filter, I'd genuinely like to know.

Suggestion: the flag notice should work like a linter report and cite the trigger (file + matched pattern, e.g. "found 'pornhub.com' in src/search.js"). Right now creators fix what they guess, save, fail again, and learn nothing.

And a question for fellow builders: has anyone gotten a mature flag lifted? What was the trigger in your case and what fixed it?

using realistic images give back characters full of moles is it normal? is it a bug? tried negative prompts on it but won't work either

I found something that's very valuable to know to people who doesn't know why ai hiccups appears, I finally figured it out, it's not about the perchance server it's about your internet speed provider, I tested it on low latency signal and the ai started hiccuping but when I move to a strong signal it continue until it finnish it task without the ai hiccups appearing.

• The "listed" button hint:

  Nice, thanks! But generator owners can already see that button in the editor. Do regular users visiting this page really need this reminder? It's completely irrelevant to them.

• Plugins, Templates, Resources, Text-to-Image Plugin, AI Text Plugin, Comments Plugin:

  Notice how "Plugins" is already the first item, yet three individual plugins appear again at the end? I bet the Resources page also contains plugin links, doesn't it? And the Templates are outdated, though that's probably fine.

  But seriously, what's this entire row doing here? Isn't this supposed to be the "Recently Updated Generators" page?

• Discord server promotion:

  There's a button promoting the community Discord server, which the developers no longer seem to update. Why not promote Lemmy, Reddit, or both instead?

  Furthermore, what on earth does a community Discord server have to do with the search bar? Is that really what the search bar is for?

• Google-powered search:

  The search bar redirects users to Google Search, which seems to contradict what I thought was the developers' intention: keeping users within the Perchance ecosystem.

  And here's the irony: are google.com links even clickable in the comments plugin? No.
