I know replacing all the caulking is the best way to go, but the problems here aren't even because it was a partial replacement. It's just caulked badly, and it probably would have been even worse if they'd done everything.

So like I said it's been a couple of weeks since the work was done, and really I should have done a more thorough inspection much sooner. I already called the company about an obvious problem the day after, and I probably should have gotten more dealt with then, but now just feels too late and I just want to be done with them.

Can’t give you Halifax specific recs, but any handyman worth their salt should be able to tackle that job.

In case it wasn’t clear, just doing the moldy bits is wrong. They should have scraped off all the old material and recaulked the entire thing.

If it’s a struggle to find a local handyman who you can rely upon to do it right, might consider a painter, but that’s probably overkill for this.

Purdy's website says she expected to graduate with her Master of Divinity last year. I don't know if she actually graduated, but studying for that seems like the kind of thing to ought to make someone stop telling people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

Calling these RCMP Nazis is hyperbolic and makes it harder to call out serious cases of facisim. The RCMP complaining about it makes them sound like babies.

It's a small province, and most people here that found the Fediverse did so as a part of Hali-Twitter migrating to (and then abandoning of) Mastodon after Elon bought the birdsite. There was really zero movement from r/Halifax or r/NovaScotia during the Reddit app bullshit. So, we're a pretty rarified bunch over here.

Why would I buy Insert Genre Here - Map Janitor 2026 when Ubisoft can't even treat their actual real life janitors right? I know this is about developers, but how do you think they treat the janitors of their offices if they treat crucial developers like this?

Unfortunately this seems to be the only one on Lemmy. Maybe you can take it over? I think you'd have to message the administrators of this instance to have yourself appointed.
