Oh wow. The last time I looked at gunnerkrigg court there were hardly a dozen pages. Glad to see it's continued going for long enough that there's a sufficient quantity to actually read! I can catch all the way up tonight, and then i can check again in 2036.

Yea you might be seeing them out of order, for these kinds of comms you gotta sort by new. All pages I post in order as they're released tho
This comic is also one that isn't very drop in friendly, at a minimum you gotta go back like....5 chapters lmao
You're probably not seeing them all in order, if you're only seeing them here. And obviously, you're not getting all the story context.
But yeah, the comic itself is a little bit fever dreamy. It's not unusual for a strip to only fully make sense a few strips later. Particularly for big action moments.
Highly recommend starting it from scratch, if you're curiou Even though it does start out a little, uhh..... "kiddie" maybe.
I've only ever heard of this comic seeing it posted here and it's like a fever dream. The story makes no sense and the pages jump from one scene to a completely different one with no rhyme or reason.
So Gamma is real dead, huh.
Me when trying to draw for the first time in months
I was not expecting "the muscle" to be unhinged. I can't wait to see what turns Noa into the mute giant we saw before
shes gonna roll her own magic distro.
Oh good I was wrong, she's going to learn magic at a deeper level than others do and disassemble their shit or use totally unfamiliar tricks or something.
"just as well"
Literally, she made the cup hot because she either misunderstood the assignment or chose to do it 'wrong' on purpose.
Narratively, I think it's intended to show us Noa's character, maybe that she takes the wrong approach and doubles down when questioned, even by the instructor. Maybe that becomes her source of strength?
I'm a little worried that her title as "the muscle" when she grows up means she brute forces magic and has acquired an absurd amount of durability through layers too complex for kat to deal with quickly or something. She came around the corner ominously, alone, opposed by a character that just got antimagic lasergrids, a fire elemental with ties to multiple demigods and death, and a teleporting dragonslayer. I feel this foreshadows that something real stupid is about to happen.
Wait... why did they make the cup magic in the first place?
I love how proud Ayilu is here
I mean I see the newest to oldest in my feed, not oldest yo newest.
It's not supposed to be out of order, I just had to go back and repost 44 after posting 45 because of an error
Why do you post all those recent pages? I get them in disorder too, put a spoil tag or "NSFW".
