Who are these people?

• The woman with not enough dress is Kayra, a night hag in disguise. Hags are not usually welcome in society, but these ones are special to the changeling.
• The woman with the flowers is also Kayra - a changeling who replaced the real Kayra when the elder hags stole her away to make her one of them.
• It's Changeling-Kayra's wedding day, and she just finally confessed to her betrothed that she's not really human. Happily, he was remarkably cool with it.
• The original Maid of Honour, Sassy, has her own thing going on. Best to give her some privacy.

Seoyun and Ihyun are workplace enemies who make a desperate deal to fake a relationship to avoid blind dates. They have been enemies for five years and their colleagues expect a storm whenever they meet. Currently, this story is available for free, but it may become paid content in the future. The story follows their journey as they navigate their fake relationship.

I came up with an idea for a character who's power is that he can make you forget he exists, that way he can sneak attack you over and over again. He calls himself Sneak Attack Man or Sam for short.

Kayra here is a construct of mud and sticks, assembled by the night hag Granny Dismal to replace the stolen child she intended to raise as a new hag. Granny gave the changling a real human soul, which she acquired through her haggish ways, and changeling-Kayra has been living her whole life masking as a human. (That stolen child is one of the main protagonists of this series... don't worry, she has a very happy life.)

She's been struggling for ages to tell her fiancé the truth about herself. She finally confessed... and it turns out he knew all along. A happy resolution! Surely everything is fine and happy now and the rest of the wedding will go completely smoothly.

I struggled a lot with Kayra's reaction face in the last panel - trying to communicate shock without stretching into anger or fear. Here are a couple of the options I tried out (plus a silly one).

This episode was not supposed to have a cliffhanger ending, but given the gravity of what she's confessing, I couldn't fit it all into one page; it needed some room to breathe. >!Patrons have seen the second part already.!<

The last panel is a bit dramatic, but I was trying to do a thing with it. I think it worked out pretty OK.

What exactly is her secret?

• The bride, "Kayra", is secretly a changeling - a construct made of mud and sticks that was built to replace a stolen child over two decades ago.
  • (That stolen child is the real Kayra and one of this series's main characters; she was raised by hags, taught witchcraft, and grew up to become one herself.)
• Changelings are normally supposed to expire (or "die") after a few months, but this one not only survived... she grew up. And has spent her whole life masquerading as a human.
• Now she's about to get married... and despite multiple attempts, she still hasn't managed to confess her secret to her betrothed.
• The ceremony has already started. But before this goes any further, she needs to get it off her chest.
