I fully agree and hope I didn't give you the impression, I did vote for either of the two parties in the current coalition? Obviously i didn't, I'm neither rich nor old. Nor am I "center right", what ever that means in a time where conservatives constantly try to imitate actual fascists. I'm used to not be a part of the represented electorate but what gets to me this time is the blatant corruption and ignorance. At least back in the day conservatives got a little creative and tried to make it look like they acted in the best interest of their voters. These days they can get away with anything so they stopped giving even the slightest fuck...

I don't have the words to express how sorry and how embarrassed I am to be represented by these absolute moose turds of backwards oriented, fossil fuel powered, reckless, power-hungry, greedy and lobbied-into-oblivion band of corrupt bootlickers. Just never forget, that most Germans that I know would love to have the true North closer by our side while the world goes apeshit.

Yes, let's not save the planet and make every country energy independent! Jobs and profits need to be protected!

Let's also hope that [unnamed country] doesn't cure cancer. Imagine all the jobs and profits that would be lost!

The country he suspects of interfering with US elections is...Canada?

I guess he's not allowed to suspect any country that previously got caught interfering with elections could he at fault - after they helped finance his campaigns...

    wp:Peter Navarro#Fake expert "Ron Vara"

    (my bold)

In six of his books about China, Navarro quotes a purported trade expert named "Ron Vara", whom he describes as a China hawk and former Harvard PhD doctoral student in economics. Vara makes Sinophobic remarks about China and the Chinese, such as "you've got to be nuts to eat Chinese food" and "only the Chinese can turn a leather sofa into an acid bath, a baby crib into a lethal weapon, and a cellphone battery into heart-piercing shrapnel".[227] However, a 2019 investigation by the Chronicle of Higher Education found that no such person existed, and that "Ron Vara" (an anagram of Navarro) appeared to represent views that Navarro himself held.[227][228] When he was asked about Vara by The Chronicle, Navarro admitted to making up the character, an author surrogate, and quoting him in his books.[228]

Supposed interference probably isn't necessary: lots of Americans are fed up with the cost of Trump's tariffs and mismanagement.

disinheritance is literally written in my dna -- 88% since i'm 2/3rds native american and almost 1/5 sub-saharan african, so the only links i have my true ancestory are unintentionally condescending stories from my maternal great grandmother told me about her father taking her to native american religious ceremonies as a child; my father coaching me how to address my grandmother using the few nahuatl affectations that he knew from childhood that spanish didn't fully erase; and a catholic baptismal record of her younger brother provided by the mormon tabernacle in utah.

it fucks with your head in strange ways not to be able to trace your lineage back through the centuries and have things like streets, neighborhoods, buildings, etc. named after relations and -- besides oral traditions -- this is probably the closest thing that these people have to being able to do the same thing,

once it's gone, it's gone for good and not even the people themselves will be aware of it and something about that knowledge vacuum allows for false anti-native narratives to take its place like it did with my great grandmother and my father.

i bet that the same thing will happen to the palestinians so it's fitting that the anglosphere is doing it to canada's indigenous people like it's doing in palestine rn.

america is the freest nation on earth with the most robust democracy. It is a shining beacon to all nations!

The only thing it hasn't figured out yet is how to explain to it's people that sometimes other countries don't want to agree to unfavorable trade agreements and these countries have the audacity to say that publicly 😦

How is the poor public supposed to handle that information? Why, it amounts to foreign interference in elections!

    (Tone: incredulous sarcasm)

Someone in my old neighborhood worked for a few years at a berry farm, and ended up with skin that regularly and painfully peels from their hands and arms, and have breathing issues, and nerve damage throughout their body from it.

    Uh-oh:

"He said he was depressed," said his friend, recounting a conversation with Ward earlier this month. "He was saying, 'F--k the immigrants', like … 'I can't find work.' "

If it isn't the material conditions rearing their ugly head..
