One of U.S. President Donald Trump's trade advisers is threatening repercussions for Canada if it "interferes" in the upcoming midterm elections — though it's not clear what he anticipates the country would do to impact the vote.

america is the freest nation on earth with the most robust democracy. It is a shining beacon to all nations!

The only thing it hasn't figured out yet is how to explain to it's people that sometimes other countries don't want to agree to unfavorable trade agreements and these countries have the audacity to say that publicly 😦

How is the poor public supposed to handle that information? Why, it amounts to foreign interference in elections!
