Technically, you are right. But this is due to the different release systems.

In Debian, security updates for the stable version are distributed via the security repository until a new point release is created. The last point release was two months ago.

However, in practice, on Debian Trixie, you get the fixed version by running a standard apt update & apt upgrade.

Yes, it is the same document I read a few years ago.

It explicitly states that the United States is not fascist.

But it also says: The fifth principle: Fascism and bourgeois democracy are theoretical extremes or archetypes; all real regimes contain elements of both types of bourgeois government.

However, I believe the relevant principle is the seventh one and its generalization: the laws passed by Trump against our trans comrades or migrant workers are fascist; the same applies to the law Biden signed depriving railway workers of the right to strike, or the economic and military aid provided to Israel to exterminate the working class of Gaza.

Those fascist laws were the work of the two major U.S. liberal parties, and anyone who does fascist things is usually called a fascist. BTW, I'm not MLM, but I think that their definition, with the generalization, covers the common usage of fascism.

    For reference:

The Seventh Principle: Individual laws or actions by the bourgeois state can be categorizedas fascist if they correspond to the sorts of laws or actions typical of the fascist theoretical archetype, and whether or not they occur in a regime which we overall categorize as fascist.

Strangely enough, there is a very common tendency to resist calling laws which are characteristic of fascist countries “fascist laws”, when applied to laws in a country which is overall correctly called a bourgeois democracy. The idea seems to be that there can only be fascist laws in a totally fascist regime! This is complete nonsense.

There are in fact many laws and government policies characteristic of fascism in even the most democratic bourgeois state, and it is by no means wrong to label them as such. In fact it is very important to label them as such, as part of the continuing struggle against fascism.

As we said earlier, every actual bourgeois regime has a mixture of fascist and bourgeois democratic elements. That means that of necessity there are always fascist laws, restrictions, policies, actions and the like on the part of the state. And these fascist elements should be labeled for what they are, and firmly opposed.

Are all repressive laws properly viewed as fascist laws even under a bourgeois democracy? This might depend to some degree on what is meant by a “repressive law” in the first place. But if the term refers to a law that actually restricts or prohibits what would otherwise be properly considered some democratic rights of the working class and masses, then yes, it can and should just as well be called a fascist law too. I see no reason to support the notion that there are “two categories” of the suppression of democratic rights: “ordinary repression”, and “fascist repression”. That would echo back to the old notion that something should only be called “fascist” if it brings all the horrors of Nazi Germany to mind. If there are two distinct categories, “repressive laws” and “fascist laws”, on just what grounds do we decide that a particular law is one or the other? There would need to be some principle which leads us to make the appropriate choice.

Moreover, if we arbitrarily decide to call a law or policy a fascist one only if it occurs in a fully fascist country, this would then force us to say that identical laws, with identical results, are fascist in one country and merely “repressive” in another country! Wouldn‟t that amount to using a euphemism for the law in the bourgeois democratic country? Wouldn‟t it be sort of a cover-up or implicit apology for the bourgeois democratic country? It seems much better to simply say that if a law or policy is a fascist one in a fascist country, then it is a fascist one anywhere else too.

You are wrong, there has been definitions of fascims that include libs and also social democrats.

Tips: Look for MLM definitions or the phrase 'social democracy is the moderate wing of fascim'

I strongly disagree with your first assertion: Israel has forced us against our will. That is a convenient scapegoat[^1] for supporters of the sometimes-socially-progressive faction of the US bourgeois party. Destabilizing and interfering in other countries and regions has been a standard US policy for over 150 years.

I also disagree with the second statement: everyone knew that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz. At least the media in my country did not foresee such an outcome; Nor did I expect Iran to humiliate the United States in that way and for so long. Perhaps the USA, after seizing Venezuelan oil, became overconfident, believing that a worst-case scenario would not negatively affect the interests of its oligarchs. But to think that the US is acting against its own interests and in favor of Russia's is utter nonsense.

Edit to add this note: [^1]: and also for fascists, Nazis, and antisemites.

    Dear Debianites

This is the official call for artwork proposals for the forky cycle. For the most up to date details, please refer to the wiki^1. At the same time, we would like to thank Elise Couper for creating the Ceratopsian theme for trixie^2.

So, if you would like (or know someone who would like) to create a desktop look and feel that will be seen by trillions of people, be sure to send in your artwork ASAP!

    [full message]

    Deadline for submissions: 2026-09-12

The artwork is usually picked based on which theme looks the most:

    • "Debian"

(Admittedly not the most defined concept, since everyone has their own take on what Debian means to them.)

    • plausible to integrate without patching core software

(As much as we love some of the insanely good looking themes, some would require heavy GTK+ theming and patching GDM/GNOME.)

    • clean / well designed

(without becoming something that gets annoying to look at a year down the road. Examples of good themes include Emerald, Homeworld, Joy, Lines, softWaves and futurePrototype)

For more information / details, please post to the Debian Desktop^3 list, to which the reply-to for this mail has been set.

From the ETUC (European Trade Union Confederation) campaign:

Right now, across Europe, 3.1 million young people are working in traineeships. Half of them are unpaid.

They aren't just "learning," they are doing the work of full-time employees without the paycheck, the rights, or the protection. For years, young people have been used as a source of cheap, disposable labour, trapped in a cycle of "experience" that doesn't pay the rent.

We are at a breaking point.

In 2024, a "Quality Traineeship Directive" was proposed to finally ban unpaid exploitation. But for two years, national governments have stalled. They are choosing loopholes over livelihoods, and "flexibility" over fairness.

    The Countdown: May 5th

On May 5th, decision-makers are meeting to determine the future of this Directive. If we don’t demand ambition now, we risk another decade of legal poverty for young workers.

National ministers need to feel the pressure today. We cannot afford to wait.

Work is work. It's time to pay us.

    Land Day (1976)

    Tue Mar 30, 1976

    Image

Image: Land Day, 1978 (Photo: Gidon Gitai)

On this day in 1976, Palestinians initiated a campaign of resistance, including a general strike, occupations, and violent confrontation with police, in opposition to Israeli settlement plans. The uprising is commemorated annually as Land Day.

Land Day was not a spontaneous uprising, but the result of months of planning. On May 21st, 1975, activists and Arab intellectuals held a meeting in Haifa to discuss a strategic response to Israel stepping up its campaign to appropriate Palestinian-owned land. This began a series of meetings over which the campaign was conceptualized, including a general congress that was the largest public gathering of Palestinians in Israel since 1948.

On February 14th, 1976, more than 5,000 residents rallied in the village of Sakhnin, calling for a general strike in response to Israeli repression. To prepare for the strike, local land defense committees and branches of the Communist Party distributed leaflets, organized demonstrations, and held meetings in several Arab towns and villages.

The first confrontations began on the eve of Land Day, March 29th as demonstrators in Arraba demanded the release of a local activist, closing the streets and setting fire to tires. Israeli soldiers fired on demonstrators with live ammunition, injuring many of them.

The following day, the general strike was initiated in Arab towns and villages, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and refugee camps in Lebanon. Israeli troops and border guards in military trucks and tanks raided Arab communities to arrest activist politicians and disperse demonstrators.

In total, six people were killed, approximately fifty were injured, and three hundred were arrested. When some of the injured applied for compensation, the Israeli Ministry of Defense categorized the Land Day confrontations as "combat activity".

The Interactive Encyclopedia of the Palestine Question describes Land Day's legacy this way: "Land Day was a turning point in the orientations and tools adopted for Palestinian struggle inside Israel. After Land Day the Palestinians in Israel gradually structured their presence as a national group inside Israel in a way that went beyond their local struggles."

During Land Day protests in 2018, seventeen Palestinians were killed, including five Hamas members, and more than 1,400 were injured in shootings by the Israeli Army during a march calling for the Palestinian right of return at the borders with Gaza.

I want to share a public project I created in response to the ongoing discussions around OS-level age verification, age signaling, and related mechanisms in free software distributions:

    https://github.com/AntiSurv/oss-anti-surveillance

The project exists to document, track, oppose, and prepare the removal of OS-level surveillance, classification, and policy-enforcement mechanisms in free software distributions.

This is not limited to one patch or one component. A visible implementation path is now emerging across multiple layers of the Linux stack, including provisioning flows, account metadata services, user records, and application-facing interfaces.

[...] The project’s position is explicit:

    • no OS-level age verification
    • no age signaling or age-bracket APIs
    • no client-side scanning or device-side inspection primitives
    • no passive downstream inheritance of such mechanisms
    • no geo-fencing users out of free software as a substitute for refusal

[...] The repository is intended as a public dossier and working reference point. It includes:

    • a front page and project statement
    • a manifesto
    • a tracker of issues, PRs, and MRs
    • a policy and law background file
    • a technical architecture map
    • a component-by-component target list
    • a downstream stripping and reversal strategy

The immediate goal is to keep the implementation path visible, linkable, and auditable so that these changes can be challenged upstream and, if they are merged anyway, stripped downstream rather than quietly inherited.

If useful, I would welcome corrections, additional evidence, and links to relevant upstream or downstream work that should be tracked.

Free software was written for users, not for surveillance.

As the U.S. attacked and invaded Venezuela, kidnapping the legitimate president Nicolas Maduro, and openly seeking control over Venezuela’s politics, oil and resources, Palestinian and regional resistance organizations and popular movements spoke out in condemnation of U.S. imperialism and in support of the Venezuelan people and their government.

The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, said...

We condemn the military aggression perpetrated by the United States of America against the sovereign territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The affected areas thus far include the capital, Caracas, and the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira.

This brutal US imperialist behavior constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a clear embodiment of the logic of aggression and criminal annihilation.

This attack aims solely to seize Venezuela’s strategic shared resources, particularly oil and minerals, in an attempt to forcibly break the political sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic and pave the way for military incursions into other Latin American territories.

The “fight against drug trafficking” is merely a pretext for imperialism, a threat not only to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela but to the entire region. This was explicitly stated in the recently published “US National Security Strategy” (NSS).

We recognize that American imperialism is the primary enemy of peoples struggling for national and social liberation. Therefore, we call upon all social, political, and freedom-loving forces worldwide—just as we took to the streets in support of the Palestinian people’s struggle—to mobilize and act in support of the Venezuelan people in the face of US aggression. We endorse the sovereign decision of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, based on international law, to respond through armed struggle.

As in Palestine… in Venezuela, they shall not prevail!

Long live the resistance of the Venezuelan people… towards global mobilization and a global uprising!

Let us demonstrate our popular outrage at every embassy of US imperialism!

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine stated...

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful

We condemn the vicious American aggression against the Republic of Venezuela and the attacks targeting its capital, Caracas, and its loyal people. These aggressive actions, which have escalated from naval blockades to direct military strikes, reveal intentions of hegemony, occupation, and forcible domination, and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and national sovereignty. They are an extension of imperialist policies aimed at subjugating peoples and plundering their resources.

Today’s targeting of Venezuela is a punishment for its steadfast international positions, particularly its historic and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and resistance forces in our region, and its standing with our people against war crimes and genocide. The Venezuelan people’s struggle for freedom and sovereignty is part of our nation’s own battle against hegemony and neocolonialism.

We affirm our full solidarity with the Venezuelan people and their legitimate government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, in confronting this aggressive campaign. We call on all liberation forces and free peoples of the world to reject this aggression and stand with Venezuela in defense of the principle of state sovereignty and the right of peoples to self-determination.

    Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine
    Saturday, Rajab 14, 1447 AH, January 3, 2026 AD.

Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, issued the following statement...

We condemn in the strongest terms the American aggression against the Republic of Venezuela, and the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife. We affirm that it represents a serious violation of international law, by attacking the sovereignty of an independent state.

The aggression is an extension of the unjust American policies and interventions that hide behind them imperialist ambitions, which have plunged several countries into conflicts that pose a direct threat to international security and peace.

We call on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions, particularly the Security Council, to take decisions to confront the aggressive policies pursued by Washington, and to immediately stop the military attack on Venezuelan territory.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated...

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemns in the strongest terms the brutal American imperialist aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which has taken the form of air strikes and missile attacks targeting the capital, Caracas, vital and civilian installations, military bases, and residential complexes; the Front considers this aggression a new chapter in the organized American terrorism against sovereign states.

The Front expresses its full and unlimited support for Venezuela, its leadership, government, and people, led by the courageous President Nicolás Maduro, and emphasizes that Venezuela, which has always sided with the oppressed, particularly the Palestinian cause, is now facing the consequences of its principled stance against hegemony and colonialism.

This American attack on Venezuela is fundamentally similar in its nature and objectives to the brutal Zionist aggression against our Palestinian people; the criminal is the same, and the colonialist mentality that seeks to break the will of resistance is the same.

The US administration’s pretexts of “combating smuggling” or “protecting democracy” are merely a cover for imperialist piracy aimed at plundering the Venezuelan people’s wealth and confiscating their independent political decision-making; this bullying by Washington in the Caribbean represents organized state terrorism unleashed from its chains, exceeding all international conventions, norms, and human values.

We affirm the inalienable right of the Venezuelan people to resist in all forms and defend their existence and national sovereignty, and we stress that internal unity is the best response to attempts at intimidation and infiltration.

We call on all free and progressive forces in Latin America and the world to form a unified international position to confront this aggression that threatens global stability and peace, affirming that imperialist arrogance will inevitably collapse in the face of the consciousness and courage of peoples who stand for their freedom.

We warn that the US’s continuation of this military madness will spark new conflict hotspots in the world; the aggression on Venezuela is an attack on every country that upholds its independent national decision-making.

Hezbollah, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, issued the following statement...

Hezbollah strongly condemns the terrorist aggression and American thuggery against the Republic of Venezuela, which targeted the capital, Caracas, vital and civilian facilities, and residential complexes, and involved the abduction of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife—an unprecedented and blatant violation of the national sovereignty of an independent state, international law, and United Nations charters, based on flimsy and false pretexts.

This attack constitutes a renewed affirmation of the approach of domination, arrogance, and piracy practiced by the U.S. administration without any restraint, and a stark proof of its disregard for international stability and security. It entrenches the logic of the law of the jungle, detonates what remains of the structure of the international order, and hollows it out of any substance that could serve as a guarantee or safeguard for peoples and states.

The United States of America, which continues to live in a frenzy of control and hegemony—especially under its current president—persists in its aggressive policies aimed at subjugating free states and peoples, plundering their wealth and resources, and leading war projects designed to redraw state borders. While it falsely claims to spread peace in the world and support democracy and the freedom of peoples to determine their destiny, it repeatedly exposes its true criminal face—from Afghanistan to Iraq, Yemen, and Iran—through the manufacturing of terrorism and its support for its protégé, “Israel,” with which it shares the same criminal, aggressive, and colonial behavior. Meanwhile, the international community retreats into shameful silence instead of rising up and sounding the alarm to reject and curb this American aggression and thuggery. Today’s assault on Venezuela represents a further escalation of the direct threat to every independent, sovereign state that refuses domination and submission.

As Hezbollah affirms its full solidarity with Venezuela—its people, presidency, and government—in the face of this American aggression and arrogance, which will inevitably collapse before the will of the free Venezuelan people—who have rejected all forms of hegemony and colonialism on their land and have consistently stood with just causes and the oppressed worldwide, foremost among them the Palestinian cause—it calls upon all states, governments, peoples, and free forces around the world to condemn this aggression and to stand alongside Venezuela, its people, and its right to fully defend its sovereignty and independence.

The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, in Yemen, issued the following statement...

“We strongly condemn the brutal US military aggression against Venezuela.

What the US is doing against Venezuela, including the preceding blockade, reflects the extreme level of American savagery and criminality.

The American aggression provides further evidence of a US policy based on destroying countries, killing peoples, and plundering resources.

What the US is doing to Venezuela confirms once again that America is the head of evil and the mother of terrorism.

We affirm our solidarity with Venezuela and its President Nicolás Maduro, who has refused to submit to American domination.

We stress Venezuela’s right to defend its sovereignty, its people, and its resources against ruthless American aggression.

We call on the international community to take urgent action to stop the US aggression and respect international principles and charters.”

Tariq el Tahrir Youth and Student Movement said...

Heroic people of Venezuela! Soldiers of the fatherland! Sons and daughters of Bolivar! Tariq El-Tahrir expresses our most steadfast solidarity in this moment of renewed and intensified American aggression.

After weeks of piracy and naval blockades on Venezuelan shipping, and years of economic warfare and imperialist aggression, today the US empire has committed terrorist attacks against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The bombings of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and the surrounding Venezuelan states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira are nothing less than terrorist bombings of a sovereign country by an empire who feels threatened by the courageous path of self-determination which has been undertaken by the Venezuelan people, under their government led by Nicolás Maduro.

The kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores is part of a larger history of attacks against anti-imperialist and anti-colonial leaders, from Palestine’s Saleh Al-Arouri, Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh, Patrice Lumumba in the Congo, Thomas Sankara in Burkina Faso, and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon. It is a continuation of imperialist policy aimed at subjugating the power of the Third World’s people and plundering their resources. In Latin America, this has taken the form of veiled and overt aggressions, economic and military, against Colombia, Cuba and Nicaragua, and countless others. In the wider international sphere, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine and the forces of the Axis of the Resistance are targeted.

The Venezuelan people have, since the Bolivarian Revolution of 1999, held firm in protecting their sovereignty in the face of imperialist aggression led by the US empire. Since the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on October 7th, 2023, they have demonstrated historic and unwavering support to the Palestinian cause, the resistance forces, and have been faithful in denouncing the US-Zionist war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against our people. Their struggle for freedom and sovereignty is our struggle for liberty and self-determination. The bombs which were dropped this Saturday, Jan 3 are built by the same corporations whose bombs fall onto Palestinian children, women and men in Gaza and villages in Lebanon. These are acts of international terrorism.

We call on all our supporters, friends and sympathizers to join in the demonstrations and raise the flag of Palestine at protests, picket lines and militant actions in your cities and localities. Where such actions are still not being mobilized, we encourage you to lead the organization of rallies, support groups, solidarity committees, and to summon allied forces for a grand mobilization of the global camp of resistance against the empire of death. The call from Palestine to lay siege to the military and imperialist infrastructure inside the imperialist nations remains one we have yet to fully answer and it is our obligation to build our own popular forces as true partners of the resistance in Caracas and Gaza. Let us apply our energies, which brought millions to the streets of every world capital in solidarity with Palestine, to stop the imperialist aggression and war against the free and sovereign Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and impose a cost on the profiteers of genocide and the representatives of the modern Holocaust. And let it be a warning to the imperialist mercenaries and terrorists who attempt to usurp the sovereignty of Venezuela – do not underestimate the power of a people’s guerrilla army fighting for their survival and homeland. Venezuela will be another grave for the imperialist invader.

This is a clear and unified stance: with Venezuela, its government and its people, and against the murderous crimes of U.S. imperialism. We reiterate our call to action:

    • This is a moment for resistance and for action. It is clear that the U.S. sees the slaughter of even the appearance of international law under imperialism in its imperialist-Zionist genocide in Gaza as an open door to expand its aggression everywhere in the world, without even an attempt to manufacture other than the thinnest pretext and while openly declaring their thirst for the resources of the people of the world.
    • It is an urgent responsibility for everyone and every organization in the United States and in the international core to stand now for Venezuela, to escalate, to protest, to take direct action — as we stand simultaneously against the ongoing genocide in Palestine, the attack on Lebanon, and the aggression against all the peoples of the region and the world who confront and resist imperialism. We must not allow business as usual or content ourselves with mild condemnations.
    • The Palestinian liberation movement is fundamentally an anti-imperialist movement; the Palestinian people confront not only Zionism in Palestine and its entity “Israel” but the imperialist powers — if this was not clear before Al-Aqsa Flood, it is more clear than ever now. The front to defend Venezuela is a front to defend Palestine, for the liberation of land and people, and to confront our collective imperialist enemy.

[Google translation and bolded the Palestinian signing organizations]

    Joint Statement

In a new step embodying the brutality of the Zionist entity, the Zionist Knesset approved, on November 11, 2025, in its first reading, a law to execute Palestinian prisoners in enemy prisons.

This step aims to legitimize the enemy's direct execution of prisoners, or their indirect and slow execution through torture, deprivation of food and sleep, medical neglect, and the imposition of extremely harsh physical and psychological conditions on them.

It is also consistent with the widespread, cold-blooded field executions carried out by the occupation and its armed settler gangs in the West Bank and Jerusalem, embodying genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The parties and organizations signing this statement, considering the aforementioned law a translation of the fascist nature of the occupying entity, and expressing their strong indignation and condemnation of this law, which completely contradicts even the provisions of international humanitarian law that the occupying entity tramples on daily since its usurpation of the land of Palestine, and the global trend towards abolishing the death penalty altogether, declare the following:

    1. It affirms that this transgression by the Zionist entity would not have reached these limits were it not for the enormous support from global imperialism in general and American imperialism in particular, and the complicity of the puppet regimes in our region, and it calls upon the free people of the world, the supporters of Palestine, to pressure the international community and the various relevant international organizations in order to stop this disgrace

    2. Calls upon all struggling forces—political, human rights, trade union, and civil—in our region and across the world to continue supporting the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance, and to redouble efforts to further isolate this arrogant enemy, expose its crimes, criminalize normalization with it, and overturn this law. This can be achieved by launching various initiatives, including demonstrations in front of enemy embassies or embassies of American imperialism, correspondence with relevant international bodies, and ensuring that this point, and the issue of prisoners in general, are strongly present in the events commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (November 29, 2025).

    3. Affirms that resisting colonialism in all legitimate forms, foremost among them armed struggle, is a natural right guaranteed by international conventions. This law, intended to terrorize the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, will not stop the march of this great people, along with all the free people of the world, towards victory and liberation. This is a lesson from the lessons of national liberation movements against colonialism.

    4. Renewing greetings and pride in the struggles of the prisoner movement as an integral and vanguard part of the Palestinian national movement, and that what the prisoners of freedom are experiencing and what is broadcast on the airwaves only confirms the nature of the occupation entity and the legitimacy of the struggle against it until its defeat. On 18 November, at 6:30 p.m., a historic match is scheduled between the Catalonia National Team and the Palestine National Team at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

After weeks of collective work, hundreds of people and organisations from across the country are ready to fill the Stadium in an unprecedented act of solidarity.

While in the Basque Country the federation, institutions and clubs have stood alongside the public to make the same match possible, this has not been the case in Catalonia. Tickets should have been released weeks ago, and the historic importance of this match —which comes after two years of genocide in Palestine— should already be being communicated across the country.

We have now learned that the intention is to move the match from the Olympic Stadium to a smaller stadium outside Barcelona.

Delaying communication, the lead-up activities and the sale of tickets until just a few days before the match can only be understood as a deliberate attempt to undermine the event.

We cannot accept this. And not only will we not give up the Olympic Stadium, but we are opening the ticket reservation process to demonstrate that Catalonia wants to fill it.

Because we have the teams, the supporters, the people, the history and, above all, we have the responsibility.

We have 15 days to make history.

Possible illegal interception by Israel's naval commando unit of the Global Sumud Flotilla may be within the hour. GSF radars currently show a concentration of roughly 12 unidentified vessels, 5-15 miles from the flotilla. Contact has seemingly been disconnected with some GSF vessels, with some experiencing signal jamming. Keep your eyes on those onboard, contact your embassies, and demand your government ends their enabling of Israel's crimes!

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Monday announced a permanent ban on the sale of weapons and ammunition to Israel as part of a package of measures aimed at "stopping the genocide" in Gaza.

ships carrying fuel destined for Israel's armed forces will be prohibited from docking in Spanish ports, while aircraft known to be transporting military material will be forbidden from entering the country's airspace.

forbids people who have "directly participated in genocide, human rights violations and war crimes in the Gaza Strip" from entering Spain.

a total ban on products imported from occupied territories.

The Spanish government has announced today an ARMS EMBARGO on Israel. This is a VICTORY of PEOPLE POWER, from Palestine to the Spanish State. WE ARE MAINTAINING THE PROTESTS planned for TOMORROW, as it is at the Council of Ministers where the announcement will be made official. We will remain vigilant regarding the details, the implementation of the embargo, and any ongoing complicity. WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE!
