I think we should keep pressure up, we as a society, should be pressuring the new democrats to not let their voters down. And also, keep the anti-AI feeling going. I want the AI-related stock market to fucking crash and bring us some sense of normalcy. We all have a game to play and I think these midterms showed that we can make a difference, though constant pressure is needed.

Seriously, these EU tariffs on imported goods piss me off so fucking much. I like some EU things (GDPR, etc), but then they also make decisions that are so fucking bad. We were already paying VAT. The new taxes basically kill hobbies for me. It is just a pro drop-shipping business BS by business majors tax.

I will get banned for this, perhaps: I seriously think we should be setting their houses on fire. Show them they are not welcome on this planet. Just fucking revolt against them.

I simply do not see another way. They have all the money in the world to change public opinion and manipulate everything to their gain. We have to not play the game, ignore everything and just get rid of them without going trough the "proper means". The proper means do not work.

The same is happening across Lemmy. I have had many posts deleted from lemmy for allegedly breaking the rules, when they do not, not really. Power hungry mods seem to be a human attribute, not a reddit attribute. And, on lemmy, we should be doing more to stop that. I find that lemmy.world has tons of power hungry mods, such as those in pics and asklemmy.

This is an example of such a removal: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/77781886. It had 40 comments. Removed by a mod without any reasoning explained. I had to look into the modlog to find a reason. The reasoning was "not a quest, just a rambling" (paraphrased). No, it was a question, you can see the question mark there. And more important than that, it was getting the community to engage, it had 40 comments.

Yes, this is what happened. All my comments with the "join-lemmy.org" link had only 1 view and 1 upvote (mine). This was happening in several of my accounts (each account for a different device). I found that weird, so I checked the comments from a different account and surely enough, they were removed.

Then it might be because I have posted that link several times. Interestingly, my other comments are not removed, only the comments with the link.

Oh well. I will find some other way to remove some money from reddit's wallets. Bunch of pedophile protectors.

My only content on reddit nowadays is pretty much only posting about lemmy and the link join-lemmy.org, to drive attention to lemmy.

I have noticed that my lemmy comments are removed. This happens on several accounts.

Can some of you please try, and let me know if your post is also removed?

That would be hilarious. Fuck them.

Heated Rivalry, the TV show, is so fucking good.

I had heard good things but still thought that it wouldn't be for me. It seemed too.. simple/easy/discardable/fluff/trashy? It is definitely not. I am always so eager for new episodes.

If you are not watching it, give it a try.

A pro-russian movement is going on in the world and is destabilizing the whole society. Wars are being fought, and more will likely be started. Alliances are being torn. This is, in part, due to Russian propaganda, russian bots and the like. The sentiment is shifting from anti-russia to pro-russia.

Creating bots, or accounts, that have russian characteristics that are obviously anti US (specifically anti republicans) and offensively so, would be a net positive to the world.
