lol you weren't kidding.. the docs about how to set it up as a service in linux is a 30+ comment issue spanning 5 years.
You can only rely on ready availability for certain shows/movies that are popular at the moment. Lots of stuff fades away over time. There's some shows/movies that sit in the download queue for months (or still counting) for lack of seeds, and re-searching finds nothing. Sometimes even finding a single torrent is difficult or impossible. My Wanted lists in sonarr/radarr have many items where no torrent is ever found. Nobody is interested in them I guess. I'm sure they're out there somewhere. Once I finally get my hands on them, I will only want to delete if it's crap. I'd say about half my collection is fairly easy to replace and the other half was some kind of effort/luck to track down and might not be found again.
And I don't feel like watching things right away after I get them, or doing work and waiting every time I want to watch something. Sometimes I hear about media, download it, then don't watch for a while.
But it's fine not to keep drives full of media if you don't want to. Especially now with streaming torrents and stuff, it is very flexible. If your taste is coinciding with people who seed torrents, then you are in luck. There have been millions of TV shows and movies produced, it is much broader.
And I guess it is kind of a hobby. :)
Does Voice tell ABS about your progress in the audio book?
I found a few threads where people were loving it but they were from a few years back.
I installed it but the configuration was not straightforward. Thats why I was wondering if these things are all compatible, because the other client felt totally different.. If its still a good choice I'll need to go back when I have the concentration to read about what it is wanting for set up.
On reddit they had bots that would automatically repost the content of the post so it couldn't be deleted.
A drastic workaround. I don't want to shut down the remote device because its doing other stuff too.
You you are on my wave length. Here was my actual playlist:

I went to sleep with that and when I wake up either in the middle of the night or the morning, it is still playing some other episodes of TNG.
There is a setting and I configured it in the obvious way:

Who said every 2 years tho?
you forgot what thread you are in lol:
60% of PC gamers have no plans to build a new PC in **the next two years **— AI pricing crunch on RAM and other components paralyze enthusiast market
Without knowing any technical details, anybody can see by looking that it will be be harder to build and maintain something like is pictured with those fragile individual car covers. A strong wind would take them away.
Why not build a proper roof to put them on?
A hobby where 40% of people need a new fancy computer every 2 years is bad for the planet.
But aren't there a lot of compatibility issues when trying to upgrade?
I wonder of the motivations were different, that could be mitigated with diffent engineering priorities.
