I think I've seen you pop up a couple of times saying "The Democratic Party also murdered more Palestinians than the Republican Party". What do you mean by that and what are the sources?

I didn't think the US was really all that directly involved in the Palestinian conflict, but more tacitly responsible for arming Israel and not trying to rein them in.

Additionally, if you're talking about Biden vs Trump admins as your timeline for dem/repub, that's really just different phases of the conflict rather than one admin doing anything more/less. If anything, the real relief that Palestine has gotten is Israel dragging the US into war with Iran. Can't really expend resources on Palestine when fighting a country that's equally capable.

Honestly, I think it's really the rate in which big games are being released tied up with console exclusives that has people upset.

If I'm going to just play indie games there isn't much reason to use a PS5 for that (or maybe that's not the type of games most people care about).

I know in my household we talked about getting a PS5, but the only game that's out that I slightly care about is Wolverine. Not only did it just get okay reviews, but it's not worth $700+ to play a single game.

God of War or Ghosts of Tushima might have been tempting, but they're now on PC, where I won't have to worry a out backwards compatability in the future.

The PS5 has 25 exclusives (only on ps5) according to Wikipedia. However, a few of the games listed have a release date in the future and a handful more are re-releases or not full games. Going through the list, it looks like less than 10 that have already released, aren't a remake, and are full games.

So if you're just going off the game library, that's a harder sell. Obviously there are other reasons to buy a PS5, but the benefits of consoles over PCs seems to be getting smaller and smaller.

I wonder if this is going to cause an increase in local networks for these kinds of things. If you have it on network not connected to the internet you solve like 99% of security issues.

Weather might help Democrats, but in general a lot of red states will screw with the number and location of polling stations in heavily blue districts to supress votes. So if the issue is structural that can be a good indication that Republican voter manipulation worked.

I was a big fan of the GBA games so tried one of the switch ones and found I was spending more time in the school portion of the gameplay than in combat. Ended up dropping the game because it felt more like a school simulator than a trpg.

It seems like fans like that element though cause the games keep selling well, but it was too much bloat for me.

Yeah, it it was just "he should be able to defend himself" I think the comment would be okay, but the commenter is clearly saying he should get physical.

Additionally, the "its not like a grown man hitting a woman" and "restore his pride" definitely makes it sound sexist.

It's kinda funny, but the one thing you did nitpick is wrong. Pension funds do invest in stocks/bonds/etc. The biggest issue with calling it a pension fund is that it's not for retirement. But by all accounts it's just a sovereign wealth fund though. The tricky part of the language is they aren't just voting on a wealth fund, but the regulations on the fund too.

For Halloween I used an orangepi (cause of cost, but would not recommend due to support) to install an LCD eye in a skeleton that tracks people using a object detection model. Additionally it's setup with some voice commands/interactions.

Overall that means holding 3+ ML models in ram (yolo, whisper, Vad, etc.). That basically uses up all the RAM I have and before optimizations was actually causing the chip to overheat (was able to fix that, but still hits the cpu pretty hard).
