In one exchange, an employee in the company’s security Slack channel urged Proton to at least take a few days to pentest newly written code before pushing it live. “That’s bullshit and loser thinking. Of course it’s possible to be fast and secure,” Yen wrote in the channel at the end of August. “Stop thinking always of how to be slower, and focus more on how to be faster.” Yen added, “stop lovingly handcrafting all our code and use AI more.”

Yikes, this Yen guy seems really charming

Under högt tryck, vid temperaturer strax över nollpunkten, pressas ölet genom ett tunt membran som bara släpper igenom vatten medan alkohol, aromämnen och allt annat innehåll blir kvar.

I've been running NixOS for about a year now (servers+desktop+laptop) and I love it!

I config sometging once, push it to Git and all other devices follow.

Everything is in one place and everything uses NixOS/HomeManager modules, so everything is configured using the same syntax/language.

It is quite difficult to get started with, but it is so nice when you get the hang of it.

Also, I work in IT with declarative tools like Kubernetes and Terraform. NixOS lets me treat my machines the same way with declarative code, so it is actually pretty intuitive to me.

I am in no way an expert on the matter, but I will gladly try to answer any questions you may have :)

NixOS really is my endgame OS and after having tried many different distros, this is what I will be sticking with for the forseable future :)

We've just got our first house and with it came a lot of new challenges in the shape of gardening.

One issue I have not managed to solve is weeds in our lawn.

I have been ripping these things out of the lawn a lot (see pic in post) but I feel like I can't win. There are big patches where you can hardly see the grass.

I know not everyone want the perfect grassy lawn, and I don't need perfection. But these things are growing and spreading at an alarming rate. I need to do something about them.

Where we are at now, I feel like we are past the point of ripping them up one by one. We need some wider, more effective solution.

What are these and how do I fight them in scale?
