No, he was under investigation, and the investigation was actually happening before the election. After the election was over, one of the justices approved the request from the federal police to have his passport turned over, and the rest is history.
Speaking as a Brazilian who voted in Lula - not because I necessarily think he's the best, just the least worse - this final term of his will most likely be his worst. The congress and senate that was elected this year is atrociously far-right, most from the same party as Flavio. Lula won't be able to accomplish anything; at best he'll be able to hold the status quo until 2030 - which is good considering with Flavio we'd very likely have loss of rights and setbacks - and hopefully by then we'll have more reasonable candidates from the right, and maybe a better one than Lula in the left.
Lol, the end of the interview is the AI equivalent of "You hang up first <3" / "No, you first! <3"
Proudly not paying Caesar's due!
I'm aware of that, and it's part of the reason I haven't gone far in using Brave as a main browser last time.
But I figure that nowadays pretty much all tech bros have skeletons in their closet, so I guess it's back to picking products on its merits.
it can be used with all the same lists as uBlock origin
Can it really? I mean, you already mentioned there's "no decent UI", which I take it to mean there's no way to customize the lists in Firefox, but can it be customized in Brave? Also, can it handle the blocking of Youtube Ads as effectively as uBO does?
It's been ages since I've last tried Brave, so I really want to know. I may actually try and use it as backup chromium-based browser if that's the case.
If that means Operations will be worthwhile content-wise, or at the very least as bug free as possible, I'm fine with they pushing it back.
Lynx looks like a budget-class bus. Ugly as hell, which is the point, I guess.
What's different about X?
Well, you kind of said it yourself: The fact that, since it's sadly still one of the largest social outlets, there's a whole economy around it. If Europe banned X tomorrow, a lot of people and companies would take a non-negligible hit to their revenue. We can argue that probably these people are not a majority of the other half of people in Europe that don't want X gone, but in the end, politicians and lawmakers care about money and (in a very distant second place) what the majority of their constituents say.
Same here, and unfortunately there is no digital wallet providers in my country other than Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Apple Pay.
I did scroll down all the way to the comments section, and nothing.
Disabled uBlock, and sure enough, more of the article showed up.
Does GrapheneOS support Google Pay?
