They're advocating a slippery slope argument. If you add three, then I'll add three, and then the next person after that will add three.

I don't see that being realistic and I would hope any such expansion would have a phased-in approach to make it more palatable and fair, and less likely to be stopped or altered.

Asked about working with the president, Schumer told reporters, "We'll see if he will actually change his ways and join.”

That's all he said, according to this opinion piece.

"Someone said something dumb. Read our article about how Twitter reacts!"

I can't wait until this form of "journalism" is dead.

Hand powered drain auger. This isn't exactly a quality of life enhancer but it's one that new homeowners probably won't buy right away. It is one of those items where you pray you'll never need it and thank whatever deity you want that you do when you do.

Other enhancers: automatic occupancy light switches if appropriate for your home setup. We have them on garage stairs for safety reasons so we dont have to reach for switches while carrying things.

Good task lighting. I have a second switch in the garage for high output lighting when I need it to be bright as daylight inside while working on the car etc. And bright under counter lighting in the kitchen for cooking or entertaining.

Don't feed the trolls. When you argue with a troll, you are entering a competition to see who has more free time. You will lose, because you have a life and the troll does not. Do not EVER respond to trolls.

I've been saying this about Trump since 2014. Shame nobody followed that advice up to this point, and likely never will.

1 group of 4 high school age girls. Walked around the neighborhood and less that 20% were participating. Saw lights and TV on inside many with lights out. Sad. :(

Redlib is struggling because Reddit put their public json feeds for threads behind a log-in. Sounds like some instances are logging in on the server, but then that makes public instances a lot more susceptible to rate limiting.

That's stopping a lot of automated data access, but not the same as blocking all access behind a log-in.
