I'll get GTA in a few years. Probably on PC and definitely not at full price.

I'll play Ocarina but not this one. Don't have a Switch 2 and have no real interest in changing that.

Just started Cyberpunk. I gave it a go a little while ago on PS5 but it just didn't do it for me with the controller. I'm only an hour in and I'm already a lot more comfortable with mouse over stick. Keyboard will take a little to adjust to since its been a while since I've played anything resembling an action game with one.

I was an iPhone user for most of 12 years. None of them.

The xperia play was such a cool phone. I had a few pre-Android Sony phones that were great too. We don't really get fun designs anymore which sucks.

The alternatives constantly hitting issues (not their fault I know) led me back to using the website. So I'm running it in Firefox with ublock origin and unhook go get rid of most what I dislike about the website. I've got my subs through an RSS feed which I treat as the feed. Open what I want in new tabs, close when I finish. No algorithm pushing me around and I'm watching way less.

Its not the most private solution but it works well for me.

A lot of love in here for Keychron. I bought one and really disliked it. I changed the switches and it got a bit better but I still wouldn't go with them again. I just don't like the feel.

I've also got an Epomaker which is fantastic.

I should start by saying, I am trying to find out information in good faith and have done a bit of research that was largely unproductive thanks to all the spin and "expert commentary".

My understanding is the new proposal would tax gains adjusted for inflation at 30%. I am also of the understanding that you could claim a 50% discount on this tax if you lived in a property it would apply within a timeframe. I am not sure how it was calculated for other asset classes.

So I guess my questions are, is the above correct? What were the old rules? What are the new rules? What's this 47% equity thing doing the rounds that just sounds incorrect?

This song is from Scottish band Biffy Clyro's 2007 album Puzzle. The album largely deals with the death of the lead singer's mother.

About the song (from an interview quoted on Wikipedia)

It's about not wanting to waste your life, but about having no idea where to turn and suddenly being aware of your own mortality.

He also added that it is "about hitting a low point and not giving a fuck. It was classic depression, I suppose."

If you're missing your footy, I recommend checking out the Super League final that happened overnight. A worthwhile watch, and might be a nice primer for some of the English that will be in the national team.

A couple of former NRL players in there too like Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (his final game before retiring), Peta Hiku, Tyrone May and Bevan French.

I managed to convert someone to Signal this week. Was having reception difficulties with a phone call (both of us in spotty areas) and after a drop out, managed to get them on board with Signal. A very notable quality improvement in the call which helped reinforce to them it was a good idea.

I'm going to work on setting up Pihole over the weekend.

Note: I did steal this topic idea from Techlore.
