Ironically, Cura for some of the same reasons you list: I think everything derived from Slic3r is a dumpster fire of UX. Yes, I see Cura has started to lag behind. Yes, the visualization is nowhere near as smooth. And yes, every time I try Prusa Slicer/Orca Slicer I come running back to Cura. I will say that Orca seems the one to look for, as it’s trying to improve the situation of the aforementioned dumpster fire…

It’s not helping that the Orca profile for my printer must be straight up made by a competing company, because it makes my old Ender 3 look like the fastest thing on earth, while the Cura one is pretty much flawless.

No kidding. Back when the Deck was new, I played a fair amount of Cyberpunk on it and it was fiiiiine. Not good, not very good looking, but enjoyable you know? Minus the bloody text, as I had to guess what things did because a tiny font at a minuscule resolution on a small screen in red? Not exactly readable.

  • ZHA and buttons? (startrek.website)

Switched from a Conbee 2 with Phoscon, to a Sonoff Dongle Max and ZHA. Bit of pain remaking the network but now everything works as before or better. Aside from the showstopper that’s the buttons NOT having anything useful! What’s the point of a button that has to drop the battery past a certain point to trigger anything? That can’t be right. Help please? :(

Edit: solved! Thanks to the helpful comments, I found out my SNZB-01P has a blueprint. Didn’t know how to use them but wasn’t hard so I’m back to fully operational :D

Basically I would like to give Orca a fair try, and import my stuff because while Cura gives me quick, accurate print times… Orca gives me far slower and despairing optimistic times, so it really takes several times longer than it says. I have a Sovol SV07 Plus, and technically it looks like there are profiles but if the results are agonizingly slow…

I tried to import a 3mf and it happily ignored everything aside from the models.

    What can I do?

Edit: I looked into this more, and the printer’s profile seems fine, it’s the presets that need all the speed values increased by nearly 10 times lol. Still confused about that, but hey. I found what’s wrong.
